    Well, I have to say I am not impressed with the English Summer thus far. I usually switch from hearty reds to white, rose or pimms come June, July and August! However, today is so damp and miserable I was drawn to a rustic red and picked up this lovely Echo Falls Red Wine. The green bottle has the echo falls label stating it is from the Mission Bell Winery and that this wine comes from California. This winery is set in the heart of the Central Valley in Madera which is one of the warmest areas thus ensuring the grapes are properly ripe.
