I've had Freeview now for over 2 years, but only had my Echostar for about a year.
Everything you need is included in the box, except for a scart lead. The salesman tried to sell a £15 scart lead to me, but I bought one for 99p elsewhere.
The setup is all automatic, this is nice - until there are new channels. The auto tuning is slow. Other freeview boxes use a system where you can manually tune new channels.
The menus are very simple - nothing too complicated. There are a few features that are missing that my other freeviews boxes have: software downloads, manual setup and converting 4:3 to 16:9 signals.
The batteries in the remote control last for a long time - mine have been in there for over 9 months now. The remote control is conviniently shaped.
I purchased mine from Argos for just under £50 and it has been well worth it!
I think this product is only good if you want something that is simple, easy to use and small.
