I know some people swear by this product, so when I saw it on QVC shopping channel last year, I thought they made this false tan spray look so easy, even I could do it!!
Even though the price was £26.00, I thought I would splash out as you got free shower gel, exfoliator and body lotion with it as a package.
Iam very pale and have tried several products, I always follow the instructions on the bottles, but somehow I end up looking like the Bisto Kid. Not this time I thought, they make it look easy peesy. I was prepared to give it a go then people would stop calling me Milk Bottle.
The first time I applied Eco Tan I exfoliated first, then moisturised just like on the TV. Then I applied the product by holding it 12 inches away from my skin. Then I gave a quick blast to my legs and watched it all trickle down my legs. I hardly let any out, I didn't rub it in as the instructions told you not to.
Then I waited for four hours or so. I tried to keep still, I thought this was going to be the best false tan application ever!!
After the four hours were up, I looked in the mirror and saw the gravy browning in all the crevices of my legs, ie behind my knee caps were all streaky, round my ankles.I showed all my work mates and they took the mickey out of me all day.
It took me days to get rid of it, I had applied it to my face as well, and looked like an overipe pumpkin. I daren't look my customers at the time in the face, I was convinced they were laughing at me.
I've no complaint over the other products, in fact I still use the body lotion, it lasts ages.
My neighbour has returned hers and so has about three people I know. Me I just sold it at a car boot sale for £2.00, I never thought to return it. If I see someone looking streaky I will hide in case it was mine she bought. I don't want kids following her calling her the Bisto Kid.

The secret is to spray at arm's length - that way you just get a spritz of a really fine mist covering a larger area, so it's not going to run. If you spray it too close, it's much more intensive on a smaller area, and if your skin is soaked with it, that's when you're going to get your run marks. Once you've left it to dry for 5 mins or so - apply your usual moisturiser, and it evens it all out anyway. It's definitely worth the persistence! :) - Nic

An interesting op. QVC makes every product seem so good that you are persuaded to immediately buy it...Paul

Hm.. I can't really comment on this op, but a very good op indeed... =) -fm
Advantages: Easy to apply, is coloured so you see where you are spraying Disadvantages: The colour of the bottle means it is difficult to tell how much you have left
