Advantages: Every song has it's good parts, most are all amazing.
Disadvantages: Segregation of fast and slow is questionable

As usual, they start with an absolutely amazing track, 'In Your Honour', this makes an absolutely brilliant start to the rockier album, Yes, we can hear you screaming loud and clear Dave! I love the added feature where there is a pause in the middle of the song, and then D.G's vocals come back in. With some artists, pauses are just rubbish, but the foo's have the amount of drama in their songs to pull this off flawlessly. Love it, one of the best songs on the album! What comes next is an absolute plethora of amazing songs that will take your breath away, after you've listened to them a few times, as some of them take a bit of getting used to. The album has much more of a feel good feel, like in the old days of the band with songs like Aurora ...

Review of In Your Honour - Foo Fighters

Co-ordinating Grade Increases

Advantages: Colourful, fun, well explained
Disadvantages: More for recapping than initial learning

Although at times I’m told I look like a 16 year old, believe it or not I’m not one. And, being a 20 year old 3rd year uni student, you might think I’d have no use for text books aimed at GCSE students… but you’d be wrong. The Co-ordination group was set up a few years ago just before I sat my GCSEs. Our Biology department bought a bunch of their books for us as additional texts, and I thought they were so good (and cheap at about £3 each) that I went out and bought the lot. Now in those days they only had Chemistry, Physics and Maths versions (plus Biology of course) but still, to get me to buy 3 new text books for exams that would be over in less than a year, and in subjects I would not be taking in the 6th form, has to be an indication of their worth. Crash course in essay writing.

Advantages: a bit of planning can save a lot of trouble.
Disadvantages: well, lots if you don't happen to like writing essays.

Despite the number of academic subjects that require you to write essays, there is very little advice ever given about how you go through this process - what do you have to do in order to get decent marks? Here's a few thoughts that might help you on your way. 1) Leave yourself plenty of time - trying to do it the night before leaves you little time to think, plan, research or revise. 2) Start by actually reading the title it's amazing how many people don't. If it says "discuss" it wants a range of opinions, if it says "demonstrate' it wants you to prove something, if it says "analyse' it wants you to pick something apart. There will be a key instruction in your essay title which will give you your first point of departure.
