I have mentioned the Ecover company in my review of the Ecover washing up liquid. So, no mention of the Ecover company in this review. No, siree! This time it is straight into the review.
Ecover multipurpose cleaner. It's great, because, as the saying goes, it does exactly what it says on the box. Or in this case, it does exactly what it says on the recyclable plastic spray container.
Firstly, as it is a pump action spray, there are not of those pesky gas propellants that can either harm the Ozone layer or risk blowing up your house. (Leaving canisters filled with highly flammable gases such a butane has always seemed a tad risky to me, but back to the review…
Like every other Ecover product it does the job that it is designed for with admirable efficiency and relative ease. Time was, 20 years ago, that a so-called "green" product was expensive and just couldn't cut the mustard, as the saying goes. Forget about cutting the mustard! They couldn't cut through the dirt.
But that's not the case with this product! It bills itself as a multi-purpose cleaner, and that is precisely what it does. The product is clear, and has a pleasing fruity smell to it.
Worktop in the kitchen? No problem. Kitchen floor? Fine with that! Bathroom and bathroom tiles? Just let it get at the dirt! It is also reasonably good with mirrors, windows, etc., etc., etc.
With all Ecover products, a little does seem to go quire a long way, so although this product might seem expensive, in the long run you could find yourself saving money. As well as doing your bit to save planet earth.

Advantages: Environmentally friendly, genuinely kind to hands, excellent cleaning ability. Disadvantages: Not available everywhere, supermarkets don't allow you to refill.
