Advantages: smells nice, layers and compliments the scent of the perfume Disadvantages: none really, slihtly expensive for some
Hugo Boss ~ Energise ~ ShowerGel
I bought my husband a Hugo Boss Energise gift set for his Christmas, he has a few Hugo Boss fragrances and he likes the smell of them as do I. Inside the gift set there was a bottle of Energise Eau De Toilette, a tube of showergel and shaving balm. The gift set wasn't that expensive and only cost me £30 for all three items; when I'm buying perfumes I tend to always buy gift sets because they are better value for money. The Hugo Boss Energise showergel can also be bought on its own from most department stores if you don't want to buy a gift set.
As you can see from the picture at the top of this review the showergel is supplied in a silver coloured tube which has a chunky silver screw on/off lid. I think that the tube of showergel has really simple colouring and design; yet it still ...
Advantages: smells OK, lathers well, gets skin clean Disadvantages: nothing special about it, a little pricier than others
I tend to have a few bottles of showergel on the go at once - one to suit every mood! I noticed that a lot of my Lush showergels are approaching their use-by dates, and as such have been using them regularly over the past few weeks to make sure I use them up on time! Having got to the end of all of the others, I was left with half a bottle of The Olive Branch.
When it came to picking a showergel, nine times out of ten The Olive Branch would be near the bottom of the list. I don't know what it is about this product, because it's nice enough - as I will describe if you read on - but I suppose it just lacks the 'wow factor' I've had from some of the other Lush showergels I've used, such as Slammer and Snow Fairy.
The Olive Branch comes in the same packaging as the other Lush showergels (apart from the name on the label ...

Joop! Homme ~ ShowerGel
Some time ago my husband got a Joop! Homme gift set for Christmas; he really likes all of the Joop fragrances, but Joop! Homme is his all time favourite. The Joop! Homme gift set which he received consisted of a bottle of Joop! Homme eau de toilette, a tube of showergel and a tube of shaving balm. The gift set wasn't really expensive and only cost about £28-30 for all three items, which is really good value for money considering a 75ml bottle of Joop! Homme eau de toilette costs £30. Most of the time when I am buying a perfume for myself or my husband I always tend to purchase the git set because you get more for your money and you also get the bath and body products which compliment and layer the scent of the perfume.
