Eden hall my first spa visit, and what a day to remember.
My brother got married last year and we all went on a hen day with his fiancée, I must admit when it was suggested I really thought £69 for a day was a lot of money and was very reluctant to spend as my daughter went to.
However it was the most relaxing day I have ever had and excellent value for money.
The day starts at 8.30 on arrival your greeted by the friendly staff, who give you your information pack for the day, if you have any treatments or classes booked, also your dinner time is on your itinerary.
Off you go to the changing rooms where you type in your own code for the locker, in your locker is a bathrobe and towels, Any of these can be changed at reception for fresh ones throughout your day, There are separate changing rooms if you wish, showers all with Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. And for when you leave a separate room equipped with hairdryers.
Off to the spa we go, To the right as you leave the changing rooms is the aqua detox centre, There's a map on the wall stating which order is best for you to do the treatments and stimulate your body, but you are free to do so in whichever order you choose. In the detox centre there are Steam Room, Herbal Room, Saunarium, Sauna, Hot Room, Massage Jets, tropical rain shower, ice in a fountain to rub all over cold but so invigorating, massage stones for your feet, massaging foot bath. All of which I found so relaxing.
Adjoining the detox centre, is the salt water pool, Improving circulation and detoxifying are a few of the many benefits of using a salt-water pool. massage jets in the pool are at various levels to aim at different parts of your body to stimulate and invigorate you. The pool has a unique water volcano where the pressure of the water enables you to float on the jets of water. There's a part which goes to the outside which is only open during good weather, The day we went was a beautiful sunny day.
After all this relaxing we went outside into the garden loads of sunloungers are there, some outdoor games with a giant connect 4, hammocks and tables for you to enjoy a juice from the juice bar, They are priced at £2.50 which I thought was pretty good, a pot of tea was £1.50.
There is also a gym for anyone who wants a workout and various relaxation classes, personally I didn't go there exercising was the last thing on my mind, this day was all about relaxing with friends and family.
Then off to the seventh heaven restaurant for a 5 course meal, you can order off the menu and also help yourself to the buffet, the meal itself is easily worth £30, the food is outstanding and delicious.
Overall it was the most relaxing and enjoyable day I have ever had and would recommend it highly. You don't have to pay for anything during your day it all goes on your card and you pay for it when you leave at 6pm.
The only things you need to take with you are some slippers and your swimwear, everything else is catered for.
There are various treatments available to you at a fee, or these can be booked at the time you purchase you spa day, they to vary in price as to what treatments if any you require.
There are many places to relax, including a very spacious conservatory area next to the restaurant. you may wish to take a book if your going alone our party had a great time, and we all can't wait to go again.
