Activity tables have come a long way.........
Review of Leap Frog LeapStart Learning Table by Saturdaysgirl

Advantages: Keeps your child interested, price, adaptability, educational.
Disadvantages: Take care on wooden floors.

I purchsed this as a Christmas present for my little boy. I had seen some good reviews written on it and thought that it looked like a toy that would keep him busy! I purchased it online, but it is also available from high street stores. I paid £29.99, but have seen it cheaper since, so look around for deals. It needs 4 C batteries. It did come with batteries for demonstration purposes and they have only just needed replacing. They lasted 4 months. ...
...initial look of the toy. It was very bright and colourful and I also thought it looked more compact than in the pictures (which is a good thing, as toys can end up taking over your home!) I wrapped it up and the rest is history......it has been his favourite toy ever since! Dimensions of the toy are 14.7 x 39.4 x 61.5 cm. It weighs 3.9 kgs. The toy is an activity table which sits on blue removable legs. They are easy to remove and just click ... Read review

Playing and learning is fun!!
Review of Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Table by hollyandalice

Advantages: Very colourful, a good height for baby to reach, English voice
Disadvantages: A little unstable, sometimes when my daughter pulls herself up on it it tips over!!

...doing this yet as the coffee table and sofas are too high for her. The only downside is that if Alice gets hold of the edge of the table when trying to pull up the whole table tips over. Fisher Price could have perhaps made it a bit more sturdy. ... Read review

Another side of the story
Review of Fisher Price Learning Phone by monkeymitchell30

Advantages: Bright, robust, engaging
Disadvantages: volume?

I have had to write my own review as I feel that more than one opinion of this product would help people when making a decision to buy this toy or not. My little girl also got this product for Christmas. We had initially seen it in Tesco and the volume was quite loud and had her grasping for it. So, when my auntie wanted to buy it her, I thought it was a great choice. Like the previous review explains, when you take the phone out of the packaging, ...
...At first we thought it was broken, or weren't qualified enough to work out where the volume control was! We then put it to our ear and the volume is acceptable, probably too quiet for adult ears, but for Megan we're quite happy that its quieter for little ears. The review before this one explains that a 7 month old doesn't yet put it to their ear and therefore they don't think their child will enjoy it as much now. My daughter is almost one now and ... Great learning toy
Review of Leap Frog Learning Drum by sweetgirl_k1

Advantages: Teaches ABC's and 123's
Disadvantages: Have not found anything I didn't like

My son has this leap frog learning drum and he loves it. I feel like it is helping him to learn his ABC's and 123's. It has volume control and you can also turn it off (some toys don't have this option and I wish they did). My son loves to hit it just to see the letters and numbers pop up on the top and he likes to hear the drum sound too. He loves the music and bounces around when he hears it. I think this is a great learning tool for children. ... Read review

Be happy, be stacky, be Tomy.
Review of Tomy Happy Stack by funkyjo

Advantages: Strong, durable, colourful.
Disadvantages: None.

Tomy Happy Stack. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yet another great toy by tomy. What is the tomy happy stack. Now im sure you all know what a toy stack is, however the tomy happy stack is slightly different from the one I used to play with. The one I used to have was a platform with a pole in the middle and you used to place the different size rings on top of each other. However ...
...base, a blue and white ball with a happy face and 5 stacking rings that dont have holes in them, on the underside of the ring is a hollow ball shape hole and on the top is a ball, see my pictures if you dont understand what im talking about. The rings are all different colours, turquoise, green, yellow, orange and pink and all have a happy face on the ball part on the top. All the parts of this toy are made from strong durable plastic. Time to play. ... Read review
