good help for left handed kids
Review of Leap Frog Leapster Educational Game: Disney Princess Enchanted Learning by
janet.bourne
Advantages: Left handed girls early writing help excellent
Disadvantages: none
My twin girls loved this game so much and fought over it so much i had to buy a second one.
Id already given in and bought a second leapster - they just wont share the really good things.
One unexpected advantage ive found is that this game has really helped one of the twins who is left handed with her pen control.
There is a game where you have to follow the princesses footsteps while she dances across the screen with the pen.
What they are ...

Horsing around
Review of Lego In & Around Town: Horse Stables by
mumsymary
Advantages: Good play value
Disadvantages: None
Lego in and around the stables is a good addition to the Lego collection for a horse mad child. This Lego build is a Duplo Lego toy so it's suitable for a child aged 2 to 6 years old. This of course depends on your child maturity and often a younger and older child will enjoy this toy. Duplo Lego bricks are larger than a standard Lego they are compatible two 8 stud Lego bricks fit on a 4 stud Duplo brick.
This Duplo collection has a horse stable ... ...are some green basic duplo Lego bricks and a brown brick, the brown brick has a picture of apples on it I guess it's really a box containing apples for the horses. A water trough for the horses to drink from too. The prize cup for the winning horse is silver colored. Then there is the farm cat too a duple cat to watch the actions.
There are enough bricks here to make a good home stable for the horses your child practicing their fine and gross motor ...

Cute wrapping paper!
Review of Lego Seasonal: Santa Gift Wrap & Tags by
ivytoad
Advantages: Great for Lego fans, looks good
Disadvantages: Just going to get ripped off! Could do with a few more tags
...this wrapping paper on the Lego website and couldn't resist getting it so I would definitely have some to wrap my Christmas presents in this year so that they look super cool! I am usually quite good with recycling, I keep wrapping paper from presents I have received so I can reuse it, but I saw this wrapping paper and thought it was so cute.
The wrapping paper costs £1.99. The wrapping paper comes in a plastic shrink-wrap and inside you get two ... ...The design is of a Lego Santa. This is a Lego Man with a red suit on with a red hat and a long white beard - basically Santa in Lego form! The Santa is printed on the paper in different sizes, and overlapping each other so that none of the wrapping paper is left without a Santa on it. I think this is a really fun design. The wrapping paper comes folded in the packet but these open up into really large sheets measuring 27.5 inches x 39 inches each. ...

Great creations
Review of Lego Creator: Mini Construction by
watkins11
Advantages: educational & fun
Disadvantages: very small parts, could be easily lost.
...much smaller than the duplo lego he is used to. However, he is digger mad so we decided to build it and see how difficult it is.
The grey box is sturdy plastic, covered in a green sticker with a clear picture of the digger on the front. The back has smaller pictures of the other two vehicles which can be constructed. The lid is green plastic and not very easy for kids to open, but nice and secure so your child can take it out with them. The age ... ...was dissapointed with. The Lego pieces do fit together very securely so the parts don't break apart too easily, good for playing with, but not so good when taking apart! Finger nails are very useful for this task, but this can be very fiddley on the tiny bits. (Not to mention annoying!) My son can dismantle about 60% before needing help. I do think my son is a little too young for this. Although he loves to play with it he definitely couldn't make ...

It's very colourful
Review of Crayola Colour Explosion Rainbow by
danielalong
Advantages: Craty idea
Disadvantages: None
Colour Explosion
A favourite craft activity at the moment, this is quite a simple idea but has been a hit.
The activity comes in a colourful plastic pack which makes it a good one to take away and carry around- no bulky boxes, so a useful holiday activity. On the pack there are full instructions and because it is brightly coloured, it does appeal to children who want to get "stuck into" the whole craft thing.
WHAT DO WE GET?
We tear open the ... ...book again with lots of bright designs on the front cover. All of the 20 pages are black, because it's onto these pages that we are going to magically draw rainbow pictures.
There are also 2 thick black pens with the word "Explosion" written clearly on them- I assume that this is so that anyone with other packs can differentiate between the pens and know what they are for. Open the tops and the thick nibs are white and can't be used on anything ...
