Real marble madness!
Review of Early Learning Centre Marble Madness by linziholliday

Advantages: lots of different routes to build, lights, sounds,
Disadvantages: pieces don't always fit togother properly,

I bought the marble madness set as a xmas gift for my daughter with a voucher given to me from a previously useless ELC toy! I was really keen to get this toy out on xmas day thinking that my husband and i would have great competitions in making the best marble run, i have to say i wasn't that amazed by it. Granted it is a childs toy but the pieces dont stay together after putting them together so after building a lovely tall marble run you look ...
...the place and then when you try to fix it the whole thing crumples and you have to start over again. The concept and design as a whole is great, the pieces are brightly coloured and there are plenty of them to make countless desgins. simply build them together as you like there is even a piece that works like a corkscrew to wind the balls up to the middle or top of the structure (it is a bit stiff to ge t going and sometimes you end up knocking the ... Excellent Long Lasting Toy Farm
Review of Early Learning Centre Wooden Farm by wendybull

Advantages: Can be collapsed flat after playing for easy storage
Disadvantages: Can be tricky for kids to put together

We got my son the ELC Wooden Farm for his Christmas present when he was 2 years old. He was always into animals and loved playing with horses and dogs especially, so we thought a farm would be an excellent toy for him. We paid £15 for it 2 years ago and I have just checked the ELC website and it is still the same price today. What do you get: - Well there are two large wooden floor pieces with grass and a pond painted on to it. This is meant to ...
...They just sit next to each other or you can have them anyway you like - that’s the beauty of kids imagination! You also get a cowshed, a stable, a pigsty, a dog kennel, and another building, which I guess could be a barn. Along with this you get chunky wooden fence pieces, which slot together to form a wall all the way round the farm. These can also be used to make other things, like a small enclosure in a field for a horse or even a chicken pen. ... Read review

ELC WOODEN BRICKS - WARNING
Review of Early Learning Centre Wooden Bricks by McWynnie

Advantages: Great fun and you can let your imagination run wild
Disadvantages: I'm not sure 12-36 months is the correct age range for this toy

WARNING! My son was given these bricks for his 1st birthday. He is now 4 and has two little sisters (ages 1 and 2). Only last week my 2-year-old daughter came running through from her bedroom with the cube-shaped brick stuck in her mouth. It was extremely hard for me to remove as she had bitten into it and her top teeth were stuck in the wood. I did eventually manage to remove the brick but it did cause my daughter considerable distress. I would ...
...have had with the bricks, which is over 4 years now, but due to the seriousness of the incident they are now packed away out of reach until the girls are much older! I would advise parental supervision if younger children are to play with the bricks, you know what the younger ones are like for putting things in their mouths! The bricks are multi-coloured and wooden. Various shapes and sizes. Box of 100 pieces for £10.00 (that was in 2003). Sorry, ... Read review

A PEG BOARD WHERE THE EVEN BEADS PEG IT!
Review of Early Learning Centre Counting Peg Board by matthewsmum

Advantages: Bright and colourful; a fun way to learn to count
Disadvantages: Poor design; Falls over easily; Pegs fall out

...Christmas Day morning was an Early Learning Centre Counting Peg Board which I had bought him as a little stocking filler. When I first spotted this in my local Early Learning Centre, it appealed to me straight away. The picture on the front of the box showed a sturdy wooden counting toy which looked well designed, was bright and colourful and would stand the test of time. Alas, it was not to be. The Aim of the Game The Counting ...
...attractive looking toy which is designed to help your toddler learn to count. Constructed of a very light pine wood, the Peg Board comprises a 10" base with the numbers 1 -5 printed along the front. Each number is printed in a different colour as follows:- 1 = Blue 2 = Green 3 = Yellow 4 = Orange 5 = Red Above each number is a round hole into which a peg is placed. The pegs are made up of different colours which correspond to the coloured numbers. ... Read review

Review of Early Learning Centre Early Learning Fun Flash Cards by Maxlarndison

Advantages: Teaches your child letters, sounds and words
Disadvantages: None

...of Flash Cards that the Early Leaning Centre sells and how I think it has helped my twins progress. ~Giant Alphabet Flash Cards~ These I have found very helpful, on the one side there is the letter of the alphabet and a picture of an animal or object that begins with that letter, this is very useful when they are just recognising letters and the picture is there to help associate that letter to that object. On the other side of the card is just ...
...of these packs from the Early Learning Centre, they have had great fun with them along with a lot of frustration, which is to be expected, but over all they have come on leaps and bounds and there reading has improved dramatically, so i give all of these the big thumbs up. They are great value for money, made out of quiet thick shiny card they are not easy to tare and can be wiped clean, so they do last a very long time. All children develop at ... Read review
