Absolutely inappropriate game for children

Advantages: I can't see any
Disadvantages: It is totally sick

Although I did not purchase this "toy," I was horrified when I saw in the toy aisle at Target in Tulsa, OK. What is this kind of toy teaching children? This isn't "science" - this is SICK! And it's labeled for kids eight and older - what are we trying to do - turn our kids into serial killers? There are a lot better ways to present science in a fun way to children without making it so sickening and potentially damaging to them. What's next - a game ...

Rhyming Fun

Advantages: Good Educational Game
Disadvantages: Have to make sure that you don't lose any of the pieces

Wood you like some bricks to play with?

Advantages: Encourages you child to use their imagination
Disadvantages: Hurts if you stand on them!

My son was given these a couple of months a go by a friend of ours. We decided that we'd put them in the cupboard and give them to him on Christmas day. Considering these bricks had been played with by two other little boys they were in immaculate condition which obviously shows that they are pretty durable. Fun & funky learning table

Advantages: Many different activities to keep the little one amused
Disadvantages: Batteries don't last too long

I bought this item for my 4 month old son even though the description said from 6 months +. Although he can't stand up (or sit) on his own yet independantly, he loves this table.
