...question was the "Leapfrog Quantum Leap Globe". Those of you who have children will know that Leapfrog make educational toys, and this one is very educational indeed. I won't go into their "history" as I don't think it is relevant. It usually retails at £99.99, but you may find it on special offer in many stores for £89.99 or if you are lucky, as I was, for £75. ...but personally, my advice is not to buy it from there. My experience with e-bay is that, for "very wanted" items, you are likely to pay more than normal store prices. I was getting desperate a week before Christmas, as the globe seemed to have suddenly gone out of stock everywhere I looked, but e-bay still had many auctions for it on offer, except they were selling for over £100 plus £10 postage. A Review of….. Leap Frog's Counting Pal. This was certainly one toy that I really couldn't wait to get for Jack. This is a wonderful little toy from "Leapfrog" which helps to teach the alphabet in full english. I tend to get fed up with hearing the "zeee's" in talking toys, so it is a pleasure to hear the standard "Zed". This toy is wildly available from most toy shops. It is colourful and sings the alphabet when pressed. It has interchanging letters so that you can hear the sound of each letter seperately. It has an "off" switch and two sound levels. It takes ...
...and they are easy to replace using a Phillips Screwdriver. The unit its self is approx 3" x 3.5" and the letters are about 1" x 1.5" and the letters fit perfectly in the unit without any trouble. The reason I love this toy is beacuse it is magnetic and sticks to the front of our fridge.... It is perfect for me to keep an eye on my son and keep him occupied whilst I am in the kitchen cooking.
