One of the most essential play items for our little one Advantages: Keeps little on upright, in one place and amused for some time.... Disadvantages: None really.... We got this after seeing our nephew in a similar thing. Our little boy didn't know what to do with it at first but soon it was the best thing we ever bought for him. He had outgrown his rocker but we had so much conflicting advice on baby walkers that we settled on this. It was pricey for us but totally worth it. There aren't too many knooks n crannies so it wasn't too hard to clean and although there are only 4 or 5 main items to play with, our ... ...each new stage of development. For some reason he loved the page that turns from numbers to letters and would flip the page over and over... The main issue we had was that he pulled the microphone out of the base when he got older and stronger, Then he snapped the little arm on the record player but he is really strong... Leapfrog Learn and Groove Table is both fun and educational Advantages: Teaches musical sounds and styles, shapes, English, French, alphabet and more Disadvantages: Easily detachable legs, takes room if allowing access to all sides at once I first experienced this product when my nephew (now 3 years old) was born but it was not until my own son came along that I realised how good a product this toy is. The toy has two modes, music and alphabet in both English and French. We first gave this to my son when he was around 4 months old, placing the top of the table on the floor and leaving the legs off. He could not reach both sides as the table is too large for little arms at that age ... ...he had and would flip the book to change modes for variety of sound. At that age he particularly liked the slider on the violin, the frog guitar and the spinner full of beads which would set the lights round the book going for quite a while if in alphabet mode. Now my son is 15 months old he has had the legs on for a while and still loves his table. He now has a lot more interest in the piano keys and the shapes and especially loves playing with ... A great learning toy! Highly recommended. Advantages: Combination of fun and education Disadvantages: None found I found the Leap Frog Leap Pad Plus Writing a very well thought trough learning toy. It has the right mixture of education and fun offering books with characters that are increasingly popular with children. But besides that Leap Frog are also aiming at science and history knowledge questions and are able to combine all this with reading and writing exercises. I have never found my hyperactive 5-year-old so mesmerized by a toy. She loved it and came ... ...just learned. After 15 months with the system, I had only have to change the batteries once and games are often available as cheap as £2.99 on special offer at some of the large highstreet retailers. MJurgens Advantages: Great learning tool for baby and friend Disadvantages: None that I can think of We bouth Baby Tad for our son when he was 7months old for Christmas.Baby Tad has a botton on each hand, one plays tunes for the night and the other hand plays nursery rhyme tunes. The night tunes was a great help after bath time to keep his attention while getting him dressed for bed. It is very calm so I also placed it in his cot to help him go to sleep. The buttons on his chest was too hard for him to press until he was 10 months but when he finally ... ...on his little face. It is a great learning tool as it teaches them about shapes. They love to push any button at a certain age so this is great as it is buttons they actually may press and they get a reward as it plays a nursery rhyme.
