A varied tool of confusion
Review of Korg AX 1 G by eaglesas

Advantages: Number of effects, in built wah pedal.
Disadvantages: Distortion sounds.

THE MACHINE The Korg AX 1 G is a very powerful little black box, with the words Korg and Guitar Effects written on it. That tells you entirely what the product is, that's right a guitar effects pedal! You'll notice there are a little bank of buttons just below the screen, which is surrounded by a red cover. All buttons are well labelled, and the main foot switches for switching between effects are large enough to use very easily. The ...
...sturdy, and secure. This little black box is good looking, and that's important, just like it's rugged design. THE SAMPLES There are sixtynine in built effect/samples, all of which can be used straight away without the need for modification. They can be modified if you like, but you don't have to do that. They are very versatile, ranging from a mad siren sound, to the typical distortion which is weak sounding, all the way to a very ... Read review

review of Korg - AX1000G
Review of Korg AX1000G by Diamond_Joe

Advantages: Range of effects
Disadvantages: little depth

...they were all shit). The Korg AX1000G features 32 different settings, each one with a massive array of possible effects, plus you can sort on mix and match between effects (ambience, modulation and amp type). To name a few featured, there's wah (plus auto wah), tremelo, flanger, phaser, reverb, spring, echo, talk and more. There is also an in-built expression pedal, which is pretty useless seeing as both wah and talk feature only about half the ...
...feature is the equaliser settings (gain, low, mid, high) because it is probably weaker and less effective than the equaliser on your practice amp. However, some of the effects do come in handy, such as the tremeloand phaser, which go pretty well with the expression pedal. Overall it's an OK multi effects pedal, especially for its price and range of effects, although I would warn off experienced players to avoid disapointment. ... Read review

Show 'em Who's BOSS
Review of Boss Metal Zone MT-2 by brunocrosier

Advantages: Great look, durable, nice tones
Disadvantages: Price

The BOSS Metal Zone MT-2 has become one of the world's most commonly used effects pedals, and is the pedal of choice of most of the metal genre's finest guitarists. It has a three-band equaliser and semi-parametric midtone equaliser to provide an optimum range of tones to suit a variety of subgenres. It seems that BOSS are so confident in their product that they have offered a 5 year warranty with their product. Perhaps this is because it is built ...
...pedals myself i can safely say that the UM100 gives a much crisper yet distorted tone. So unless you are more interested in buying a brand name than a product, i would steer clear of all BOSS products and buy yourself 4 Behringer pedals for the price of one MT-2. ... Read review

Jim Dunlop Cry Baby Wah Wah Pedal
Review of Dunlop Jim Cry Baby by BenMeredith123

Advantages: Great Effects, Easy To Use, Cheap, Extremley Long Lasting Battery Life
Disadvantages: I Really Can't Think Of Any

Hi Dudes!!! This is easily the best standard wah wah pedal out there and arguably better than some of the signature pedals. It is the number one most sold pedal in the world which must tell you something about it. Used by Joe satriani to get his amazing sounds you can go from those low tones for jazz and blues type stuff and some oldy rock or go for some high up ear blasting tones right up top for some new world metal stuff. The main and best pitch ... Read review
