I was thrilled when i went on the internet to look for a good value credit card. I got accepted right away and had an email from egg to say my new credit limit was £2000. I was glad i had been accepted as i was getting married last year and just wanted a credit card to help with unexpected bills.
Fortunately i didn't need it during my wedding but i used it on honeymoon which was very handy with the old duty frees.
Unfortunately i had a death in the family this year and had quite a few unexpeced costs. This left me up near my credit limit. I emailed egg to up my credit limit and never received a response. I have waited patiently but have never heard a word.
I have now transfered my card to another bank who replys to someone in need. I hope no-one experiences the customer service that i did with egg.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
This is quite promising - details on apr, annual fees etc would have get you a higher rating. Let me know if you edit this and I will re-rate :)

I don't find Egg any worse to the other online banks and credit cards - they all seem to take forever to respond to messages.
