Egg is fantastic!

Now, because I have to write more than 3 words, here goes...

I have had my egg card for over a year now, and I have had nothing but excellent service from them.

Firstly, egg grabs everyone's attention by the excellent offer of 6 months interest free on all purchases and balance transfers (made within these 6 months). There is no catch at all, perfectly sound, and no small print!
========================================
Well, it all starts at the beginning, so I will tell you about the application process:
==============================================
* Basically, everything is done online, and the site is fast. You enter all of your details (on a secure site - so it's perfectly safe!) and it's really easy and self-explanitory. It not only takes you through the process step-by-step, but also tells you how many stages you have to go (so you know you aren't going to be in front of a screen for hours!!)
* When you have entered all of the required information, you will get an instant online decision. It also tells you your credit limit.
* Within 48 hours, you have your contract arrive through the letterbox. Sign and return, then within a few days, your little green friend (Mr Egg Card!) arrives on your doorstep - ready for use!

========================================
Web site
==============================================
The www.egg.com website is marvelous! You don't need to remember your account number, sort code or anything like that...all you need to log onto your account is your name, date of birth, mother's maiden name, post-code and password. This makes it really easy to access your account whereever you are, without the need to have your account details with you!

Features-wise, the winner for me is EGG MONEY MANAGER. This is the super part of egg's website. Basically, you enter the details of all your current bank accounts, credit cards, loans etc into egg money manager. Then, whenever you log in, egg retrieves the balances of all of your accounts. This is good, because it means that you never need to access all of your accounts individually - Mr Egg does it for you and shows you them all on one screen. It also lets you transfer balances/pay bills between all of your accounts and credit cards - how fantastic!?

Banking is now so much easier with Egg Money Manager!

========================================
NAVIGATION and HELP
==============================================
The site is very easy to use, to log on, simply go to www.egg.com, and then click 'view my accounts'. Then enter the required information (as above), and you're in. It's as simple as that!

If you ever need help, you can send a secure email from your account. This can be anything from a technical query to specifics of your account. Whatever you need, egg is there. You can also use the telephone if you prefer, and it's not PREMIUM RATE numbers!
========================================
MAINTENANCE
==============================================
Anything you need to do, regarding you egg card, can be done over the internet. Literally anything from changing your employment details or email address, to viewing statements, applying for more accounts or paying bills - it's all done... and it's easy!

Each month, you will receive an email from egg telling you that your statement is available. Simply log in, and click view statement. Simple?! Furthermore, on your statement, it tells you how much next months interest will be (if you don't clear your balance); the cash back earned, and any other important messages regarding your account such as remaining credit limit available.

========================================
Eggcellent points...
==============================================
Egg has a really competitive rate of only 13.9%APR.
You earn 0.5% cashback on everything you spend.
You can get 10% discount on insurance policies.
They just keep up-ing your credit limit.
They always inform you, by email, of any changes in the terms and conditions (how polite!)

========================================
Just to emphasise how good the customer service is on egg, get this....
==============================================
If the site is being updated, and you can't log onto your account, they apologise onscreen, and ask for your email address. When the site is up and running again, you get an email telling you so! You don't have to waste your time returning to the site!

========================================
EGG DOESN'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
==============================================
It's quick... the application process, the site-speed, the response from the customer service department (emails), and you can view EVERY account by just entering a few details (which you always 'know' !!

Oh, and for all you worriers out there, egg is completely safe...it used 'secure sites' (which encrypt the information so noone can read it), and it guarantees against internet fraud! (But you can always contact them by 'phone if you wish!
========================================
But the best thing of all is that you can go SHOPPING, and spend, spend, spend.....

Until next time...
Hope this helps people! Thanks for reading, and bye for now.
