Egg

I know that Egg have had a bit of a bad press lately but after having so many problems with my phone bank account I decided it was time to try an internet bank and haven't looked back. Egg always seems to have one of the highest interest rates around and there is no minimum deposit amount, great if your balance is always changing so you don't need to keep a certain amount to save losing out on high interest. After no end of problems with my previous account Egg is a real refreshing change, everything can be sorted out either online or by phone and even though there s one of those "if you want . . . press 3 now" phone systems it isn't long before you get to talk to an operator.
