The new addition to the eClient lineup is the eClient 531L, an integrated 15-inch LCD monitor-WBT unit. With nearly all administrative and managerial tasks including software installation and upgrade handled on the server, WBTs offer an economical and practical alternative to desktop PCs. EIZO takes the simplicity and cost effectiveness of standard WBTs one step further by combining the display and terminal into one compact, hassle-free unit. The result is an attractive, space efficient design with the WBT so seamlessly integrated into the monitor that the eClient appears to be a standard LCD monitor. At a depth of less than 17 cm the eClient minimizes footprint so users can maximize desktop space. IT managers will appreciate this all-in-one arrangement with its lower total cost of ownership (TCO) alternative to acquiring the WBT and display separately. Furthermore, users no longer have to sacrifice desktop or floor space to accommodate a separate thin client terminal or the external power unit common with many LCD monitors.
