Advantages: relatively cheap, little noise, instant warming Disadvantages: only 1 dial, slightly burning smell on starting
With the winter drawing in I decided to buy one of these heaters to save myself some money over the escalating gas prices by not using central heating. For about £25 one can choose between a mid-range fan heater, a low-range convection heater, or a very-very-low-range oil filled heater. So I choose the Delonghi HS20/2 - a convection heater and I am not disappointed. I will be analysing the advantages and disadvantages of each of the above later on.
BASICS
The HS20/2 is a convection heater. This means that it works by having a coil in the centre which heats up. As the air is heated it gets less weight and rises, sucking in colder air from below. This results in a convection flow (if you remember your GCSCE physics!). The theoretical advantages are that these heaters starts warming up very quickly, and they will be very quiet as no ...

Ciao members have rated this car review on average: very helpful Review of Delonghi HS 20-2
Advantages: Quiet, Small, Stylish, Eco - Friendly, VESA mounting bracket and N WI-FI Disadvantages: Low RAM, Low HDD, No Optical Drive Not very VfM
The Asus Eee Box B202 is not a PC in the standard sense of the word! It is, what is known as, a net top PC. It has no DVD Drive, is very low on processing power and has very low Hard Drive space.
Ok, for the good.
The ASUS Eee Box B202 is almost silent even when running at full throttle. It?s very thin; stream line design makes it very attractive but does hinder it. It also has a bracket allowing it to screw into the VESA mounting holes on the back of any standard monitor, which means its great on space saving. It has a built in N WI-FI card meaning no dongle needed so again you gain on space! It has a gigabit Ethernet port.
This PC has one of the lowest power consumption seen so far at almost 17W while idle, meaning that this PC is very Eco-Friendly, so not only do you gain on space but on cash too. The gift that keeps on giving ...
Advantages: Does what it says on the tin ( once set up ! ) Disadvantages: Pain in the arse to get working.

In time we grow out of our basic needs, or in my case the girlfriend wanted her own Pc & Internet connection
This is cool, as I now have my own Pc all to myself again!
Perhaps family members get their own Pc's, kids need the Internet for their studies etc, So instead of having separate accounts to get on the net (which would cost a fortune) it would be nice to all share one internet connection, and one bill.
Enter the Sitecom DC202 v5 wired router. £ 29.99 from Maplins electronics in Swindon.
I had a go first at linking the 2 Pc's together (without a router) wanted to link 2 Pc's in the same room, by means of one wire, LAN network card to card? to me this made ...
