Advantages: A real indeph RPG game that will give you hours of richly designed conent. Disadvantages: Really can eat up your evening (recommened you finish that essay before starting out)
...I was so excited when ordering my copy of OblivionElderScrollsIV.
The screenshots and ads had promised much. I'm an eager gamer but am still not used to hours of my day being eaten up!
Oblivion is a massive RPG (role playing games) the deph of the storylines and quests is superb. I love this game because it gives you freedom, allows you to choose your own path in Cyrodil (the world in which your character lives). You can become a sinister asassin, a quirky mage or a brave fighter. And even (if you know the right people) become a secretive thief.
The Game features a thrilling main quest which on my first run took many months to complete (alongside other quests). But have since discovered that a few days concentrated play can leave you champion of cyrodil!

...The ElderScrollsIV : Oblivion. What a game, it has to be said it is just awesome, you start the game and before anything else you have to make your character. There are a wide range of choices available to you including three different types of elves (High, Dark or Wood), Nords (Mountain Folk), Argonian (Lizardmen), Khajitt (Cat Folk), Orcs (Large Green Skinned Humanoids), Redgaurds (Darker Skinned Humans With Natural Fighting Flare) or Imperials (Local Human Race With A Nack For Trade And Speech). After you have chosen your race you start the game in the Imperial Prison with a dark elf in the opposite cell taunting you, then a group of blades (Protectors Of The Emperor) escort Emperor Uriel Septim through your cell to help him escape from assassins who have already claimed his sucessors to the throne.
