Philips QT4045 beard trimmer
Review of Philips QT 4045 Vacuum Power by the_didge

Advantages: Different length settings and built in vacuum cleaner.
Disadvantages: Does not vacuum up all hair clippings.

...so it does still require some cleaning up afterwards. The battery life has so far been very good and does not require constant or frequent charging. The Philips QT4045 has been the most reliable beard trimmer that I have tried and I would definitely recommend it to others. ... Read review

Babyliss For Men I-Trim Stubble
Review of Babyliss 7850U I-TRIM Stubble by brockleyboy

Advantages: great trimm
Disadvantages: doesnt feel as robust as expected

the Babyliss For Men I-Trim Stubble - 7850U Beard Trimmer is a very modern looking design which gives it a great look in the home. And the lcd display is very good as well. But one does get the feeling that this may not be one of the most robust products on the market. I was very pleased with the way the trimmer worked on my stubble and trimmed very well.Other trimmers I have found can some times not give a good over all trimm where as the Babyliss ... Read review

Listen to the buzz, no more cuts
Review of Philips QG 3080 7 IN 1 Grooming KIT by ultracoolgiovanni

Advantages: easy to use, recharges itself, lots of attachments, cheap
Disadvantages: no disadvantages to this product

...I opted to buy the Philips QG 3080 6 IN 1 Grooming System for only £17.99. When you look at the price of this beard trimmer in comparison to the cost of say Gillette Fusion blades that can cost upwards of £7 for 6 blades, it is not that unreasonable a price to pay for what is a multi-purpose grooming system that can do lots more than just sculpt facial hair. The actual trimmer sits in a base unit that doubles as a charging pod, with the associated ...
...to store, pick your attachment and ensure that everything is kept in place, which is very handy for such a naturally untidy person like myself. When charging a red light appears at the base of the unit and once full to capacity this changes to a green light. It also looks very good, made from a very durable tough grey/silver plastic casing taking it out and getting to work is very easy indeed with only the options available being on or off. If I ... Reliable and comfortable trimming
Review of Remington MB 42 Ceramic by rhuaridh

Advantages: Ceramic blades, variable cutting length, rechargeable cordless use, pop-up precision trimmer.
Disadvantages: Recharging cord does not plug into bathroom shaving socket.

I spent a long time looking for a beard trimmer that would be easy to use, reliable, and offer a variety of services...this product ticks all the boxes! It has 9 pre-set lengths (1.5mm to 18mm) of cutting, easily adjusted by a locking zoom-wheel, so you can achieve anything from designer stubble, to a thick but well-kept and tidy beard. It is also the only product of its kind to use ceramic rather than steel blades. This means you never need to ...
...rechargeable battery, so you don't need to have it plugged in whilst shaving. I have found the charge lasts for about 30-40 minutes, but it does have an early-warning low battery indicator light on the unit, so you have ample warning when you're about to run out of juice. The product only comes with a mains rechargeable cord, which of course means you can't charge it in your bathroom using a shaver socket. Other useful things built into the product ... Read review

Best shaver I've ever used!
Review of Braun 7785 Syncro PRO System by mynameisrui

Advantages: Close shave, self cleaning
Disadvantages: Need to buy refil cartridges

The Braun Synchro 7785 is a wonderful bit of technology! Personally, I was never a big fan of electric shavers. I've had a few in the past and have never found it to be as close a shave as a manual shave but the Braun changes everything. I have found it to be just as close as a manual razor and much easier to keep clean. Granted the whole thing is actually very expensive but, for me, its well worth it. Basically the way it works is that you shave ...
...the razor and charges it if necessary. The razor itself has twin foils and the head moves 4 way which is supposed to help you get as close a shave as possible. It also comes with a middle trimmer. There are two settings on the razor. One fixes the head in place so that you can get the areas like around your nose. The other setting uses the head movements to get a close shave. In terms of the closeness of the shave, it is easily on par with the ... Read review
