Reliable and comfortable trimming
Review of Remington MB 42 Ceramic by rhuaridh

Advantages: Ceramic blades, variable cutting length, rechargeable cordless use, pop-up precision trimmer.
Disadvantages: Recharging cord does not plug into bathroom shaving socket.

I spent a long time looking for a beard trimmer that would be easy to use, reliable, and offer a variety of services...this product ticks all the boxes! It has 9 pre-set lengths (1.5mm to 18mm) of cutting, easily adjusted by a locking zoom-wheel, so you can achieve anything from designer stubble, to a thick but well-kept and tidy beard. It is also the only product of its kind to use ceramic rather than steel blades. This means you never need to ...
...rechargeable battery, so you don't need to have it plugged in whilst shaving. I have found the charge lasts for about 30-40 minutes, but it does have an early-warning low battery indicator light on the unit, so you have ample warning when you're about to run out of juice. The product only comes with a mains rechargeable cord, which of course means you can't charge it in your bathroom using a shaver socket. Other useful things built into the product ... Read review

Remmington keeps my beard in check. MB320C
Review of Remington MB 320 C by JayPineapples

Advantages: Quick to use, great battery life, light weight.
Disadvantages: Vulnerable to moisture

I bought the Remington MB 320C rechargeable beard trimmer three months ago and thought that I'd share my experience with the world. I have a beard, partly for idle non shaving reasons but also because I was getting increasingly fed up with staring at my father in the mirror every morning. I did a little research before buying the Remington both on Ciao and Amazon. I paid £19.99 for this trimmer from an eBay trader but with my eBay voucher for ...
...and is supplied with its charger This model is the first that I have used and I am really impressed with it. It takes no more than 5 minutes about once a week to keep my beard in trim. It is possible to set the zoom wheel which adjusts the length of cut anywhere between 1 and 9, 1 is very short and I find that 6 suits me best. The shortest setting cuts at approximately 1.5mm and the longest at 18mm. When you have cut the main part of your beard ... Read review

Remington MS 5800
Review of Remington MS 5800 Washable Titanium by NickJR

Advantages: Plent features, good price
Disadvantages: Shave nor close enough, noisy

I purchased the Remington MS5800 shaver on the basis that it seemed to be laden with features, offering a close shave (closer than Philips multi head), power remaining indicator, quick charge, rechargeable and all at a good price. It is quite a chunky shaver and unfortunately it doesnt give me an all over close shave. The shaver struggles in the harder to get at areas of the face, it is extremely noisy and most of the shaved hair falls to the floor ... Read review

Review of Philips HP 6517 Satinelle ICE Premium by sophosthegreat

Advantages: Rechargeable and ice cooled.
Disadvantages: Loud buzzing noise it makes

...of your own home? This Philips Satinelle is like other epilators in its ability to lift hairs from close to their roots and give you the long lasting smoothness of waxing with none of the mess, expense or time required. Plus unlike shaving this little baby will keep your legs smooth for 3 weeks at a time! As a bonus this particular epilator is rechargeable, making it perfect for use in the bathroom, unlike rival products which need to be plugged ... Read review
