Philips QT4045 beard trimmer
Review of Philips QT 4045 Vacuum Power by
the_didge
Advantages: Different length settings and built in vacuum cleaner.
Disadvantages: Does not vacuum up all hair clippings.
...so it does still require some cleaning up afterwards. The battery life has so far been very good and does not require constant or frequent charging. The Philips QT4045 has been the most reliable beard trimmer that I have tried and I would definitely recommend it to others. ...

Listen to the buzz, no more cuts
Review of Philips QG 3080 7 IN 1 Grooming KIT by
ultracoolgiovanni
Advantages: easy to use, recharges itself, lots of attachments, cheap
Disadvantages: no disadvantages to this product
...I opted to buy the Philips QG 3080 6 IN 1 Grooming System for only £17.99.
When you look at the price of this beard trimmer in comparison to the cost of say Gillette Fusion blades that can cost upwards of £7 for 6 blades, it is not that unreasonable a price to pay for what is a multi-purpose grooming system that can do lots more than just sculpt facial hair.
The actual trimmer sits in a base unit that doubles as a charging pod, with the associated ... ...to store, pick your attachment and ensure that everything is kept in place, which is very handy for such a naturally untidy person like myself. When charging a red light appears at the base of the unit and once full to capacity this changes to a green light. It also looks very good, made from a very durable tough grey/silver plastic casing taking it out and getting to work is very easy indeed with only the options available being on or off.
If I ...

Good Beard Trimmer ... Sexy too
Review of Philips QT 4020 by
EdwardChaput
Advantages: Clean easy cut, good battery life.
Disadvantages: Sometimes uneven - go over same patch a few times.
Theres not a whole lot to say about this beard trimmer - it does exactly what it says on the tin! The design is nice and ergonomical and has the sexy silver finish. It stands out from the usual matt colors.
The shave itself is pretty good working equally good on short and longer hair. It does sometimes require redoing a certain patch as slightly longer tufts can be led. But do you ever expect them to be able to trim right down to the base on the ... ...good i normally recharge after about 20 - 25 shaves. This, by far, outperforms other models that i have used.
Overall I would recommend this as a good, reliable shaver - although not remarkably different from the rest of the market it does have a nicer look. I got mine for around £15 from Amazon and would not recommend paying a lot more for it. ...

Poor old Michael Finnigan
Review of Philips HQT 764 by
LegendaryMrDude
Advantages: Rechargeable, 9 length settings
Disadvantages: Not Waterproof, not very robust
The problem with beards is that they actually take just as much maintenance as not having a beard. Of course I didn't realise this until fairly late in life as, not being particularly hirsute I didn't dare attempt to grow a beard until late on. But when I finally did, I found it to be a nightmare. After 2 weeks of detemined non-shaving while on holiday, I had what could be called (by kind hearted folks) a beard. But it was patchy. And after another ... ...messy. Certainly not what I had hoped it would be. I tried to trim it into shape with scissors and comb but mirrors do funny things to my coordination and I came close to slicing open my neck/chin/nose on more then a few occasions. So my first beard never made it beyond 3 weeks old.
It wasn't until some years later that I gre another one. Again while on holiday, again it was patchy and got worse. But this time I adopted a new strategy. The goatee! ...

the electric shaver
Review of Philips HQT 863/00 by
Man08
Advantages: good grip and a close shave
Disadvantages: runs on electricity.hazardous
the grip was good.the shave was quite close too.because of that, there is a lesser chance of an irritation because there are lesser strokes to be made.the design is comfortable enough for odd style shaving,up,down, left and right shaving.there goes the muscle aches associated with shaving, especially when the blade becomes blunt.the vibration adds to the overall shaving experience.the shape of the shaver itself is also another reason to consider buying ... ...value for money and great looks,it makes it not a bad choice for a shaver.Overall, this is a pretty good buy.if you are looking for a new shaver to buy, this could be a good choice for you and your family.if u do buy it,i hope you enjoy the shaving experience.have a nice day. ...
