Reliable and comfortable trimming
Review of Remington MB 42 Ceramic by
rhuaridh
Advantages: Ceramic blades, variable cutting length, rechargeable cordless use, pop-up precision trimmer.
Disadvantages: Recharging cord does not plug into bathroom shaving socket.
I spent a long time looking for a beard trimmer that would be easy to use, reliable, and offer a variety of services...this product ticks all the boxes!
It has 9 pre-set lengths (1.5mm to 18mm) of cutting, easily adjusted by a locking zoom-wheel, so you can achieve anything from designer stubble, to a thick but well-kept and tidy beard. It is also the only product of its kind to use ceramic rather than steel blades. This means you never need to ... ...rechargeable battery, so you don't need to have it plugged in whilst shaving. I have found the charge lasts for about 30-40 minutes, but it does have an early-warning low battery indicator light on the unit, so you have ample warning when you're about to run out of juice. The product only comes with a mains rechargeable cord, which of course means you can't charge it in your bathroom using a shaver socket. Other useful things built into the product ...

Remmington keeps my beard in check. MB320C
Review of Remington MB 320 C by
JayPineapples
Advantages: Quick to use, great battery life, light weight.
Disadvantages: Vulnerable to moisture
I bought the Remington MB 320C rechargeable beard trimmer three months ago and thought that I'd share my experience with the world.
I have a beard, partly for idle non shaving reasons but also because I was getting increasingly fed up with staring at my father in the mirror every morning.
I did a little research before buying the Remington both on Ciao and Amazon.
I paid £19.99 for this trimmer from an eBay trader but with my eBay voucher for ... ...and is supplied with its charger
This model is the first that I have used and I am really impressed with it. It takes no more than 5 minutes about once a week to keep my beard in trim. It is possible to set the zoom wheel which adjusts the length of cut anywhere between 1 and 9, 1 is very short and I find that 6 suits me best. The shortest setting cuts at approximately 1.5mm and the longest at 18mm.
When you have cut the main part of your beard ...

Quality doesn't need advertisement
Review of Remington MB 200 Precision Titanium by
Nick_Endeavour
Advantages: Confortable, Powerful, Battery Lasts (and lasts, and lasts), Sharp, Quality
Disadvantages: Non Washable
...( I do have another Remington device which is an electric shaver and but is washable and is quite handy option to have. Well this doesn't have that function and I have to use a little brush to clean the hair out of it.
OVERALL
All in all it is good size, comfortable to hold in the hand, has a nice feel and does what it says on the tin. Trims the hair without scratching your face. Just a classic case of a non-fancy bit of equipment (save for the ...

For light beards only
Review of Remington PG 250 6 IN 1 by
mountainman
Advantages: Compact storage/charger unit
Disadvantages: Too small
From the outset I must say that I was diappointed in this trimmer. I have found that the interchangeable heads are small and quite flimsy. The blade length is governed by a plastic slide which I find never remains in the selected position (1to5)
The nose hair trimmer I find very hard to use as it seems to pluck the hair as opposed to cutting it.
I have not used the razor which is of the metal foil type. Again I feel that it not big enough. I purchased ... ...box and got the impression that it was larger than what it actually is and more robust.
On the plus side I am impressed by the storage/charger unit which allows for central storage and each attachment has its own compartment within the charger. I cannot say how long the battery lasts as I always place it in the charger and so it has never run down. ...

How is your Testosterone today.
Review of Philips HQ 7290 17 by
martinwi
Advantages: Feels Sturdy and Chunky. Nice grip.
Disadvantages: none yet.
...sets of shaving heads which Philips recommend are replaced every 2 years. These heads have the Philips 'Lift and Cut System' which means the shaver lifts the hair head up slightly before it cuts it, hence giving a smooth shave.
The heads also float individually of each other so they can all adjust according to the shape of your face and neck. The Trim:
The shaver also has a spring released pop-up trimmer to enable the grooming of sideburns and ... ...a number of shaves. Philips state that when fully charged, it enables shaving of up to 35 mins. I personally take about 2 mins to shave once a day. The first full charge (of about 1 hour) lasted me 19 days, so that makes it a little longer than they state. The Indicators:
When charging, the shaver has 2 green 'charging' lights that come on, on the main stem. Once fully charged, they flash showing a full charge.
When the power is low, a red 'low ...
