I was fed up of disposables going rusty after one use and wanted something that I could use over and over again. I didn't have a lot of money to spend- i just wanted a basic shaver for my legs. Disadvantages: Still difficult to get as close as a wet shave but comes a VERY close second

I purchased the Remington MS5800 shaver on the basis that it seemed to be laden with features, offering a close shave (closer than Philips multi head), power remaining indicator, quick charge, rechargeable and all at a good price. It is quite a chunky shaver and unfortunately it doesnt give me an all over close shave.
