Advantages: effective hair removal, easy to use, handy "smart light" Disadvantages: A little painful the first time you use it. Takes longer than shaving.
I got this off my husband for christmas after mithering for it for ages!! The first time I used it i was almost crying with the pain, but once you have done one or two strokes you get used to the pain, but the first few times you use it it does hurt but as they say no pain no gain!! It has to be connected to the wall via an adapter while been used so thats one disadvantage that you have to be near a plug socket. It says you stay hair free for 4 weeks, ... ...longer and you don't get "prickly" legs cause the hairs aren't being cut but pulled from the root. Theres a handy little "smart light" on the front which comes on to help you see the hairs your plucking free, and two adaptable heads, one for new starters and one for people who are used to the feeling and want a closer more accurate hair removal. You need to persevere, it takes longer than shaving of course, and you do have to go over the same place ...

The Braun Epilator that I purchased was great it gives me soft silky skin for 2 weeks. If you read the literature is says hair free for up to 4 weeks and I have never been that lucky.
The Braun Epilator has two speeds and it runs off the mains with a 12 volt adapter and come in a great travel bag with a cleaning brush which is used to brush those hair that get caught in the epilator.
When I used the epilator for the first time ... ...getting those hairs so i recommend you epilate regularly.
I recommend the Braun epilator and after using it you will wondering what took you so long to try it especially as I paid £25 for this epilator and when you weigh this to the price of waxing it's a bargain. ...

Ok so I have been epilating my underarms for around a year or so now as I can't shave them as it brings me out in nasty spots! I originally used the model that was about 2 or 3 before this one and it was perfectly okay I just fancied a new sparkly one.
