Remington NE 200c
Review of Remington NE-200 C by
fastfast
Advantages: battery operted
Disadvantages: plastic switch not rubber, no cleaning brush
I got one of these for christmas, and was happy as it s battery operated and not chargable s most things are these days, it has a slight curve to fit in your hand better and is reasonably light.
I have used it and thinking that it is going to pull at my nasel hairs is wrong, quite the opposite, you dont even breathe back in the loose hairs when they have been cut.
the power switch is tough, who wants one of these going off in their bag on the train! ... ...hand but stands proud enough for you to force the button on from the lower edge. A design which can be improved with a rupper replacement or a push switch.
Two other flaws would be that the lid to cover the blade is easily removed, easily misplaced in coming months. And there is no cleaning brush for the tiny blade, that would go missing too i guess. as for the trimmed nasal hairs after use, they could do with being shorter as this trimmer does ...

Easy to clean close cut.
Review of Philishave HQ 6852 Quadra Action by
wildtinsey
Advantages: Quick to shave and a close cut.
Disadvantages: Not quiet.
I have owned this shaver for many years.
I bought it in the sales where it was reduced down to £40 from the original £80 asking price.
It is a metallic purple in colour which is unusual but i like it.
In the box you get the shaver, a charger and a cleaning brush.
It can be used either plugged straight into the mains or via the rechargable battery. I mainly use it the latter way.
When you first unpack it the battery isnt charged so it requires ... ...are more like an hour. When charging the front of the shaver has a green light illuminated, this flashes once charged.
A full charge will give you at least 10 days daily shaving. I shave less often so get a few weeks per charge but even if the battery is flat you can use mains power.
The shave warns you of the battery getting low as a red light comes on and the noise changes. It runs slower too.
If you arent used to using an electric shaver it ...

Quality shaver
Review of Braun 2776 Cruzer 2 by
sharky05
Advantages: Battery life, waterproof
Disadvantages: none
I brought this as my old shaver died on me one day, and I am very happy with the purchase. The shaver fits well in your hand and the battery lasts for a good length of time. Also great is that the shaver is completely waterproof so you can stick it under the tap to clean it without worrying about anything breaking or having electrical problems. It has a built in extension for beards which can rotate to either give a long edge or a small edge for ...

How is your Testosterone today.
Review of Philips HQ 7290 17 by
martinwi
Advantages: Feels Sturdy and Chunky. Nice grip.
Disadvantages: none yet.
...sets of shaving heads which Philips recommend are replaced every 2 years. These heads have the Philips 'Lift and Cut System' which means the shaver lifts the hair head up slightly before it cuts it, hence giving a smooth shave.
The heads also float individually of each other so they can all adjust according to the shape of your face and neck. The Trim:
The shaver also has a spring released pop-up trimmer to enable the grooming of sideburns and ... ...a number of shaves. Philips state that when fully charged, it enables shaving of up to 35 mins. I personally take about 2 mins to shave once a day. The first full charge (of about 1 hour) lasted me 19 days, so that makes it a little longer than they state. The Indicators:
When charging, the shaver has 2 green 'charging' lights that come on, on the main stem. Once fully charged, they flash showing a full charge.
When the power is low, a red 'low ...

Remmington keeps my beard in check. MB320C
Review of Remington MB 320 C by
JayPineapples
Advantages: Quick to use, great battery life, light weight.
Disadvantages: Vulnerable to moisture
I bought the Remington MB 320C rechargeable beard trimmer three months ago and thought that I'd share my experience with the world.
I have a beard, partly for idle non shaving reasons but also because I was getting increasingly fed up with staring at my father in the mirror every morning.
I did a little research before buying the Remington both on Ciao and Amazon.
I paid £19.99 for this trimmer from an eBay trader but with my eBay voucher for ... ...and is supplied with its charger
This model is the first that I have used and I am really impressed with it. It takes no more than 5 minutes about once a week to keep my beard in trim. It is possible to set the zoom wheel which adjusts the length of cut anywhere between 1 and 9, 1 is very short and I find that 6 suits me best. The shortest setting cuts at approximately 1.5mm and the longest at 18mm.
When you have cut the main part of your beard ...
