Philips Arcitec - Helping you to value your face
Review of Philips RQ 1095 Arcitec by TechSavvy03

Advantages: Good qulaity of Shave
Disadvantages: Slightly Higher Price

Philips Arcitec This one is one of the finest product of Philips in Electric Shavers. A lot of marketing in support of this product with a high price of about 160 to 250 GBP is not just a hype but true. It is actually a great product and thus its price should not stop it to capture the market. Quality of Shave The Quality of the Shaver is always determined from its ability to remove hairs. My shave has always been a challenge for ...
...performer in dealing with it. It is capable of removing the hairs from the remotest areas of your face and the ones whic are indeed left out by normal cheap shavers. Going some details, it was able to shave off the hairs from my neck and on the side skins that cover my lip which in normal conditions would leave side burns. Its always difficult to remove these hairs without a good deal of effort but with ARCITEC it was quite easy and comfortable. ... Read review

top notch shaver!
Review of Philips HQ 9190 CC Smart Touch XL by singlestud

Advantages: easy to use, close shave, nice on skin
Disadvantages: none

I bought this shaver because I wanted the best plain and simple and it's gonna get used everyday. It flies through tough areas and it seems like I can shave in half the time of my Braun. The 9190 feels like a champ in my hand, looks good and is quiet as well. It's a piece of cake to clean and I enjoy using it! I love everything about the shaver itself. It does what its supposed to well with the added benefit of excellent feel, simplicity and looks. ...
...the info you really need. You get up to 90 minutes shaving time on a one hour charge... perfect when there's no time to fool around looking for plugins. The shaver is easy to clean, you just rinse it under the tap with individual head cleaning by removal recommended once a month. There is a sensitivity adjustment and trimmer as well so you can customize your shave. It has a travel lock and a nice hard case so it stays safe and off in your bags. The ... Read review

No pain, no gain!!!
Review of Philips HP 6503 Satinelle ICE Premium by charlotte_thomas

Advantages: smooth legs, great value
Disadvantages: hurts a bit at first

I bought this product last august, on a half price offer from boots. Having never bought an electric shaver or epilater before I took advantage of the offer because this product came with an additional shaver head as well as the epilater head. It is very easy to use and the epilation is not painful on legs after the first couple of times, even without the additional ice pack it hardly hurts. However I would recommend to always use the ice pack on ...
...eyes!! The results are well worth the pain as the skin is so smooth after use. I find I get at least 7-10 days before i have to do my legs again and bikini line lasts even longer! The instructions are fairly easy to read. Some of the key points that you need to know for regular use are: -The two ice attatchments (one for general epilation, one for bikini line) need to be put into the freezer for five hours before use. -The manufacturers recommend ... Philips Electric Shaver
Review of Philips HS 8020 COOL SKIN by lustba

Advantages: Built In Conditioner, quiet, stylish, effective
Disadvantages: Bit of a hassle to clean

...razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance. I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features. Moving around the jaw bone and cheek bones, means that it gets alot closer to the skin. A normal razor can only tilt backwards and forwards, ...
...made all the difference in my opinion. It even made the much harder places to reach like the neck, below the jaw line and around the Adams Apple. Once again, because of the swivel and pivot, it was alot easier to get closer to the skin. Though i must admit, i ended up with quite a sore neck afterwards. I don't know it this was down to me, or the shaver. I probably either pressed too hard, or didn't put enough conditioner on. The conditioner feature ... Read review

Philips QT4045 beard trimmer
Review of Philips QT 4045 Vacuum Power by the_didge

Advantages: Different length settings and built in vacuum cleaner.
Disadvantages: Does not vacuum up all hair clippings.

...so it does still require some cleaning up afterwards. The battery life has so far been very good and does not require constant or frequent charging. The Philips QT4045 has been the most reliable beard trimmer that I have tried and I would definitely recommend it to others. ... Read review
