The closest shave he's ever had! Advantages: Super smooth, close shave, reasonable price, quiet, attractive design Disadvantages: None. My boyfriend used to wear a beard, but it started irritating my skin so we decided he should go clean shaven. However, months of using razors irritated his sensitive skin and never gave him a close enough shave, we tried single blade and double blade razors, both to no avail. So, we decided I'd get him this for his birthday which is 4th June, however, it's out of it's box and I have to keep telling my boyfriend to put it down! He absolutely LOVES ... ...of a gadget to him ;P First, it's a very sturdy piece of design, perfect for a man to grip, unlike many flimsy, more expensive shavers on the market. It gives the perfect shave, there's absolutely no stubble in either direction (up/down stroke). It is also very quiet which was a pleasant surprise. Phillips HS 820 Cool Skin Advantages: Clean crisp shave, very very close, great price, Great Design Disadvantages: No Sideburn shaver, Need to buy additional products Advantages: Clean crisp shave, very very close, great price, Great Design. Also this product comes with great looking charging stand. Disadvantages: No Sideburn shaver, Not fantastic build quality around the roatary heads. I bought this item from comet but i have seen it on amazon slightly cheaper. just over a 2 months ago, after seeing it on television advertised i thought for the price it was worth a try, since i have had it i have used it everyday ... ...but the it always give me a clear crisp shave, also the battery life is very very good my only negative coment would be that its build quality around the roatary head could be better but for the price i am and will continue to be very happy! In the last few days my father has bought the same shaver and at his age of 54 he said it was the best shaver he had every used. top notch shaver! Advantages: easy to use,close shave,nice on skin Disadvantages: none I bought this shaver because I wanted the best plain and simple and it's gonna get used everyday. It flies through tough areas and it seems like I can shave in half the time of my Braun. The 9190 feels like a champ in my hand, looks good and is quiet as well. It's a piece of cake to clean and I enjoy using it! I love everything about the shaver itself. At last, I can shave without a rash Advantages: Easy to refill and recharge, Fast Charge, Long lasting battery Disadvantages: None I have always wet shaved and I have 5 different razors ranging from 2 blades to 5 blades at varying price levels and I have always found the 5 blade to shave the closest with the least irritation. I stopped wet shaving about 3 months ago when on holiday with my family, my granddad mentioned using electric shavers and said that he finds it a lot better than wet shaving.
