ANNOYING HAIRS BEGONE! - Rio Laser HOME Hair Removal
Advantages: Portable, great for home use, easy to use, very effective Disadvantages: Expensive!
...my face and belly. The Rio Laser was great because it targets lots of hair at once.. just like the salon versions. I have tried machines that only do 1 hair at a time before and I gave up quickly because it was so time consuming. The Rio isn't too bulky and it is very simple to use. Simply set it to the right level (patch test required) and drwa it along the skin where the hair is. All the lights and buzzers tell you when it is working. Although ... ...it really isn't a painfull sensation at all. Don;t be fooled into thinking the hair will instantly be gone. It does take persistance and regular work however in 6 months of using it I have no hair in any of the places where I have used it. I would definatly recommend this product. ...

Is It Really Worth It?
Advantages: Pain factor is low. Disadvantages: Takes a while to work. Results aren't mindblowing. Fiddly to use.
None of these gadgets actually work perfectly because if they did, then I don’t think prices to get it done by professionals would be so high nor would so many people go to them! Saying that, after a while of constant use you see a difference but only in people who have very fine hair. If your hair is coarse and thick, you’re better off investing your money in professional treatment. As for the application of the product, the head is small and you ... ...areas done therefore making you grow frustrated and add that to the fact you sometimes have to wait up to five months to see that difference it really isn't worth the time and effort. All in all it is an okay product, but it isn’t great at all. I've gone back to waxing, it hurts more but it has better results! ...

Excellent method of hair removal
Advantages: Quick, pain free, no mess Disadvantages: Availability of product
...WHY I DECIDED TO TRY RIO PRECIOUS LEGS:
My Mum saw this advertised on the Ideal World TV shopping channel and bought it for me at a bargain price of £19.99 which includes 50 Micro-Dermabrasion discs and a bottle of Aloe Vera moisturiser. She also bought me 100 replacement discs for £9.99.
It was quite a coincidence that she bought this for me whilst I was thinking of trying a new hair removal method.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
It was so easy to use, ... ...put a buffer disc on the velcro and was ready to go. The first time I used it I managed to remove the hair on the calves of both legs with just one pad in less than 10 minutes. You have to wait at least 30 minutes after showering before you can use it - to allow your skin to thoroughly dry - but this was no problem as there are plenty of things to do whilst getting ready in the morning!
I loved the fact that it also exfoliated my legs, leaving them ...

Its no wonder Remington don't give you your money back any more..
Advantages: Light, gives a good shave Disadvantages: Takes a long time to achieve the good shave it is capable of.
...a comparison with my previous Remington shaver - a Microscreen 2. I have actually had two Microscreen 2's over a period of about 7 years (the batteries seem to last 3 years or so) and as I have been very happy with these naturally replaced the last shaver with the equivalent current model. I am writing this review after shaving with the FF-500 every day for 2 months so I feel I can be pretty fair in what I write. If you already have a Microscreen ... ...easily. This could be why Remington have included the long hair trimmer between the foils. As with the Microscreen 2 you can extend the side long hair trimmer to work with the foils but this is much more awkward in the FF-500. The trimmer also has very sharp corners and stands well out from the body of the shaver so you can nick yourself, something I never managed to do before with an electric shaver. On the other hand the long hair trimmer is an ...

Easy and cheap cut at home
Advantages: even easy cut, good value for money Disadvantages: none to report yet
...always reccomend something from the babyliss range - call me a sucker for brands but I have never had a problem with the make when buying products before. The overall appearance isn't the typical appearance to clippers, at least not ones I've seen before but just like it says on the tin my partner found them easy to use and hold. Straight from the box the clippers use "Unique circular blade technology for multi directional cutting" which seem to ... ...the cut a nice and even appearance. The product is rechargable and comes with the mains equipment for corded use or uncorded, whichever you prefer! The results look very proffessional and the price really isn't that bad, in the long run, a couple of hair dressers/barbers chops would do the same job for the same price so it's a bargain really. Included in the package is a battery operated trimmer for all the facial hair, side burns and neckline aswell ...
