Brilliant clean. Superior to standard toothbrush
Advantages: Deep Clean. Massages Gums. Makes teeth healthy and whiter Disadvantages: Expensive replacement heads
...anyone. I first bought a sonicare toothbrush in 2004 and then upgraded to this model in early 2007. I have been so impressed; to the point where I actively recommended it to friends.
Firstly, brushing with this toothbrush leaves your teeth feeling so clean, smooth and polished. You can really feel the deeper clean around the backs of your front teeth, which I think is the most common place for plaque and tartar build-up. When you first start using ... ...the dental hygenist for a clean-up
Since it gives a deeper and more powerful brush - powerful but not aggressive - it also leaves your gums feeling massaged and healthier too.
Thirdly, it does begin to make your teeth look a shade whiter and brighter. I mean, it's not going to make your teeth white-white like bleaching would, but for a toothbrush to achieve a touch of chemical-free whitening I think this is impressive.
The battery life is good. ...

Great brush for easy brushing
Advantages: teeth feel brilliantly clean. Disadvantages: takes a while to charge
I bought his toothbrush the other day as the one I had just broke with age. The main reason that I chose this one was the fact that it was on offer at Tesco for the price of around £15-it is about thirty pounds normally but it isnt coming up on the website.
With the brush, you get the essential charger. You also get a spare brush head. This charger has an advantage because there is a little holder for the two brush heads, so that you can share with ... ...explain how to use it and also how to clean it and other bits of useful information. There is also the two year warranty included for if the brush breaks. I have to say that this toothbrush is really good. It has a fairly normal toothbrush head on, then an extra little bit. This little extra bit is really good as it gets rid of the many little bits of food that a normal toothbrush head would miss. This toothbrush is an oscillating one, which, unlike ...

Getting medieval on your plaque
Advantages: Low power indicator on brush. Charge lasts for up to 14 days. Disadvantages: Brush head "wand" a little insubstantial. Slightly tricky to change brush heads.
...one of the newer Philips Sonicare models, from the Elite e9000 series (model number HX 9552). Unbeknown to me, he had been reading reviews on mainly US sites, and it wasn't until I starting trying to find a price for his chosen model, we realized that it was very new to the UK market. We eventually managed to track one down on eBay (where the seller had that all important good feedback score), so we purchased it. I've been using it on and off for ... ...Ξ What's so good about Sonicare brushes? Ξ
Sonicare is the brand name for electric toothbrushes made by Philips. Sonicare has patented their very own "bristle tip velocity", which undertakes 31,000 brush stokes per minute. All this brush stroke vibration whips your toothpaste (and saliva) up into a frenzy, thereby creating enough liquid force to deeply clean and cleanse your teeth and gums. Clever stuff eh? The Sonicare system also ...

Not So Sensible Sensiflex
Advantages: Chunky, good to hold, rubber incased for gripping. Disadvantages: Too many flaws - see this review.
...So I bought a cheap Philips electric toothbrush about three years ago. I had been warned from my dentist to try a cordless electric brush as my teeth and gums weren't always the best, due to high coffee drinking and lots of crunching hard boiled sweets which often ground down my back molars (as well as Polo mints!). Although manual brushing is fine, I've often missed bits because of the larger manual toothbrushes I have always preferred. In this ... ...So whilst my old Philips was going well, I inadvertently dropped it one day a month ago - slipping from my hand and down to the bathroom floor, smashing into many pieces. What to do but to either return to my old manual toothbrush or splash out and buy something new?
And this brings us up to date with the HX1513. There are a couple of new features on this brush compared to my old electric cordless brush. But there is also a lot of hype connected ...
