Advantages: Deep Clean. Massages Gums. Makes teeth healthy and whiter Disadvantages: Expensive replacement heads
...anyone. I first bought a sonicare toothbrush in 2004 and then upgraded to this model in early 2007. I have been so impressed; to the point where I actively recommended it to friends.
Firstly, brushing with this toothbrush leaves your teeth feeling so clean, smooth and polished. You can really feel the deeper clean around the backs of your front teeth, which I think is the most common place for plaque and tartar build-up. When you first start using ... ...the dental hygenist for a clean-up
Since it gives a deeper and more powerful brush - powerful but not aggressive - it also leaves your gums feeling massaged and healthier too.
Thirdly, it does begin to make your teeth look a shade whiter and brighter. I mean, it's not going to make your teeth white-white like bleaching would, but for a toothbrush to achieve a touch of chemical-free whitening I think this is impressive.
The battery life is good. ...
...immediately during use. The sonicare I had was of the variety where the lithium battery was internal and could not be removed or repaired, at least unless you have the patience and tools.
Which is where I decided to purchase this battery-powered model. ~~~ WHY THIS SONICARE? ~~~
Sonicare's range of electric toothbrushes are considered the Rolls Royce of toothbrushes as said by my own dentist nonetheless so after that endorsement, I was not going ... ...happy to stay with the Sonicare range.
I bought this particular model for a variety of reasons. The Sonicare I really want is £100-plus currently and there was no way I could justify such spend right now. So this model was half-price and only £25 so I figured it was a reasonable price to spend whilst I waited for the model I wanted to come down in price.
I also get the Sonicare experience which provides the easy timed brushing and the best brushed ...
Advantages: Gets rid of more plaque Disadvantages: Replacement heads need to be bought, needs shaver plug as it has 2 pin
I was recommended by my dentist to use an electric toothbrush as I had some bleeding of the gums and these get rid of more plaque than brushing manually. If this goes unchecked it can lead to lots of other nasty diseases as the bacteria that breeds in the space where the gums recede following the bleeding can enter the body and cause heart problems. Amongst other things. It is a well known fact that healthy gums mean longer life. The Oral B Vitality ... ...half price at £14.67 and a pack of 4 replacement heads is £8.99. I bought mine from Boots on a double points weekend so that was good. It works well, no better or no worse than my previous one, a Philips, I had thrown out because the heads were so expensive. This one is good because it has a special feature, it hesitates when you have been brushing for 2 minutes. This is really useful as I usually get fed up of brushing long before that. It comes ...
Braun Oral B Vitality Precision Clean Toothbrush
I have been using this product for about 9 months now so I thought it was about time that I wrote a review as I have really benefited from using this toothbrush. Before I had an electric toothbrush I had heard really good things about them and so decided to buy one on the strength of this. Apparently electric toothbrushes remove 2 times more plaque than a regular manual toothbrush. This is great as ... ...get rid of it more effectively is a great benefit of an electric toothbrush in my opinion.
Oral B say that their precision clean toothbrushes Advanced Technology to surround each tooth and that superior stain removal versus a regular manual brush means teeth are naturally whitened. I do agree with this statement. I have found that since using this toothbrush my teeth are definitely whiter, granted they are not Californian white but they have improved ...
