Review of Citroen Saxo Electric

The G-Wiz / Reva dc-drive is an unpretentious electric city car

Advantages: Small, economical, electric car. Practical around cities, great visibility, easy to park.
Disadvantages: Handling, ride, up-hill performance, safety.

The Reva dc-drive (known as the G-Wiz in the UK) is the car that started the electric car revolution. It gained popularity in London thanks to its exemption from the London Congestion Charge. The car is a small city car in a similar vein to the Smart and the new Toyota IQ. Like the Toyota, it has seating for two adults and two small children. The car is designed purely for in-town use. Top speed is 40mph and the car has a range of 30-40 miles. ...
...The car is extremely practical as a two seat city car. The turning circle is tiny and the length of the car means it can be parked end-on at the side of the road. As a consequence, there is never a problem with finding a parking space even when other cars find it impossible to park. With the rear seats folded down there is a generously sized boot space that will easily carry the weekly shopping with space to spare. I often use mine for trips to ...

One Kew-et little car

Advantages: Perfect size for 2, great for little towns and well-adjusted egos!
Disadvantages: Usual drawback of an electric car: short range!

...management. We haven't used the Kewet for more than 10 miles at any one time before charging, but it might go about twice that far, and there is a knob right on the dash that lets you turn down the acceleration and top speed to maximize range. I know some models were sold with nicad packs, and these would get you at least *twice* as far - 30 to 40 miles would be more than enough for most folks. My internal combustion (commute) car drops to 22mpg ...

Morettes and smoked rear lenses by ecosse.

Advantages: nice and quality brand with minimal problems
Disadvantages: rear right lense leaked

I have got the Ecosse rear M3 smoked lenses and front morettes on my 106 and they are of good quality apart from the age old problem of aftermarket parts i had to use fishtank silicone on my right rear light as continued to leak and blow the fuses. The headlights have the option of the 3 levels of dipping your headlights into position 1 2 and 3. They cost 2uite a bit for the headlights but managed to get the rear smoked lenses for about 80 quid off ...
...money i wanted to make sure i had a guarantee. But i think you can find these on ebay and if your lucky they may already be the colour of your car so you dont have to spend more money and get them sprayed to match the car. do not think these would look good put on without the colourmatch as plastic is smooth but noticeable on the car otherwise. ...
