On the website, which was easy to navigate, I found the integrated washer dryer I was looking for with no problems at all!
The right side of the page shows internet safety and safe delivery certificates.
The left lists the phone number and a list of products:
vision, imaging, AV furniture, Hifi/audio, home laundry, dishwashers, cooling, cooking, microwave ovens, cleaning, household, GPS navigation, accessories, special offers, clearance, new technology.
Scrolling over any of these gives a further list of options. After clicking on one of these, your search can be further narrowed down. After you have selected your item, the page shows the product details, delivery costs (very reasonable on this website - delivery was free for my washer dryer!), a picture of the product, additional options (extended warranties etc), an 'add to basket' icon and a 'sales' enquiries' button, which gives opening hours for their sales centre and their phone number, which is a useful touch!

Ordering online was easy - just add your item to basket, select any additional options and payment options, and pay with your card. I think it is also possible to pay by phone, if you're not comfortable with this process!
I then received an email confirming my order with a reference number that can be quoted for enquiries.
As I didn't receive any phone calls from the company to confirm a delivery date within a few days, I phoned them up and was told that the item had to be delivered from the manufacturer to the company, which was only done on a Tuesday for sales in Scotland, so my order would be delivered some time after this. At first I was a bit wary of this response - I thought I was being fobbed off (previous negative experience had made me cynical!). I phoned a couple of days later and got the same response, which I actually found reassuring. On the Friday, I got a call that my order would be delivered on Monday between 8am and 12pm - whoopee!

I'm pleased to say that my washer dryer was delivered in the time slot I was told! The delivery man and the guy with him even carried it down the driveway and round the back of the house through the kitchen door when asked! The machine was in perfect condition and the receipt was with it.

Although the product was more expensive than on other websites, and the website doesn't look as chic as others, I would definitely recommend this website - every time I phoned, I got through and got a straight answer, and they delivered when they said they would! They also have a wide range of products.

Because of the bad experience I had before, I phoned the company before ordering to check my item was in stock - I'd recommend doing this to avoid any hassle!

The product info for the item I ordered was actually inaccurate (the spec listed was for the Hotpoint BWD129 as opposed to the Hotpoint BHWD129 - I suppose that's easily done, since there's only one letter different) - I only knew because of my extensive research beforehand - I would recommend checking other websites for the product specifications.
Use a comparison site such as kelkoo.co.uk to compare prices, delivery prices, reviews, and how safe the website is for ordering.
