Bought new in March 2007, I have had to get used to using electricity for cooking as I was using gas for many years.
The cooker is built very well and has a sturdiness about it that seems lacking in other cookers. On delivery, I noticed a large defect inside the top oven. The stayclean lining was gouged away and I had the cooker changed by Electrolux in only 3 days.
First impressions was that the cooker was much slower to heat up than I had been used to, but that is typical for electric cookers.
Five months later, I amused to the heating and cooking at a more gentle pace and the results are better than with gas. The obvious statement is that it is much cleaner. Especially with a ceramic hob, this is a main advantage.

to come off within weeks requiring replacement. The motor for the fan has had to be replaced after the bearings went in the motor. This was after only 18 months of use (and of course out of warrenty).
This is really disappointing in an oven that cost over £500 and from a brand like Electrolux I expected a lot better. Call out charges from their service department are almost £60 an hour and then they charge for parts also (which I was then charged more for than I subsequently found myself online so go figure!)
Overall an oven that cooked really well but for reliability and service I would look elsewhere for the money ...
