    Advantages Advantages Compact, lightweight, Powerful. good capacity, nicely designed, variable suction.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Rear vent means it can't sit on stairs for too long. No telescopic height adjustable tubes.

    I bought this cleaner at an ex-display price of £25 from Comet, with the sole purpose of cleaning my stairs. Within 5 mins, I thought it was marvellous as my normal vacuum (an Orek) is hopeless at doing the sides of a room & as this is where most of the Muck is, that's not good. The machine is easy to use with a neat little carrying handle on the top & is very effective as long as you don't expect to cover great swathes of shagpile. It is of course great for the car.     Advantages Advantages Adjustable power/suction,textile dustbag,retractable power cable,carpets and hard floors.

    If your budget is £40, this model is worth serious consideration. 1800W power makes a big difference from the bargain basement cleaners on the market. Power is adjustable through a slider switch on top of the unit, which means you can use your foot to operate the slider. Suction can also be adjusted by a slider vent on the hose handle. People interested in environmental issues will be pleased to see the cleaner comes with a textile dust bag which is reusable and washable.
