I bought this cleaner at an ex-display price of £25 from Comet, with the sole purpose of cleaning my stairs. Within 5 mins, I thought it was marvellous as my normal vacuum (an Orek) is hopeless at doing the sides of a room & as this is where most of the Muck is, that's not good. The machine is...

Question

How can I remove the cleaner head from Ext tube, it is stuck fast.# Mrs. A. Clark.

Spray furniture polish into the floor head collar that is on the tube as well as the floor head neck on the bottom suction pipe. Allow the polish to soak through for a few minutes. If you don't have furniture polish, use 3 in 1 oil or WD40 but put paper down too. Then place the floor head between your two feet and try and prise the floor head off the bottom suction tube. Wearing rubber gloves really helps also to grip the metal tube.
