I was on the verge of spending £160 on a well researched cleaner when this one was offered on my local freecycle group. It was nearly new, had only been bought and used while their stalwart was in ... ...it. What could I lose??!!
In a word nothing, it knocks spots off the plethora of other vacuum cleaners I own. It sucks those damn hairs off the rug with very little effort and even less time. It comes with 2 filters so I can still clean while letting one filter dry after washing. Its light weight, nippy, and the hoses are log enough for a taller than average gal like me not to get too much back ache! I was warned that the hoses have a tendancy to ...

Quick review of Electrolux Z 7292 Cyclonic Review ofElectrolux Z 7292 Cyclonicby
cmoggy
seamed like a good deal at first, as its light, fairly cheap, and no fuss. I wanted one that was easy to empty and was ergonomic but what a mistake!
After only a few washes the filter is useless, it gets clogged too easily. The suction when the filters are clean is poor at best, and when dirty is v v poor. I often get a pressure valve type thing happen when the machine effectively gives up, protesting its clogged. I've had two hoses as they break at the top very easily, and the tube park slot is too easily broken. The hinge for the top cover is also too flimsy and all this only after 12mths ownership! Will now buy a henry or miele.

Advantages: good suction, light Disadvantages: falls apart, breaks easily, painful
I bought this hoover a few months ago and already I want to throw it in the bin! Yes its small and nippy and the power is not bad, but I am fed up with mine because the metal pipes keep on falling apart whenever I carry it. Not clever when I am trying to hoover the stairs and the tube falls off and clambers to the bottom. They are not tight enough or Iv'e got a dud? Also the plastic tube came off when I pulled it because the lead is too short. Now ... ...coming off! The main head cracked when my daughter was hoovering and wanted tp change to the brush. Now the head keeps on coming off too! Oh and watch out for the fast rewind of the wire because the plug has caught my ankle a few times when it was rewinding and it hurts!
All in all I think this hoover is not worth the money. My next hoover will have a longer lead and definately not metal tubes which hurt when they fall off on your toes. Is hoovering ...

Advantages: Bagless Disadvantages: None i can think of
Fantastic vacuum cleaner. Very easy to carry around, not at all heavy like some cleaners. Excellent fluff-picker-upper and perfect for dog/cat hairs. This cleaner is perfect for doing the stairs as it is really is light weight. The other advantage of this vacuum is that it is bagless. Oh, and another advantage is that the cleaner is a lower in price than other bagless cleaners and it is just as powerful. In three words;
Perfect, reliable and cheap. ... ...and you won't be disappointed! Prices for this vary, so i really would shop around, as one place is charging £20 more than another place, which is quite a difference.
This is my first ever review of something and I'm hoping this is ok! I know i'm gushing about the product, but i really would buy it. in fact, i have!! ha ha!! ...

Advantages: small, light and plenty of tools Disadvantages: filter has to be cleaned regularly
This is a nifty little vacuum cleaner at a good price. Plenty of tools and has a minimum/maximum slide control for power so if you're cleaning laminate flooring etc. you don't need as much power as carpets, saving on your carbon footprint - not much, but every little helps.
You have to wash the filters very regularly as the suction soon drops when dust or dog hairs clog it, but its no big deal. You get a spare filter to use while the other one dries.
