...We have owned the Electrolux Contour Vacuum for about 5 years now, initially it was ok, but over the last 2 years it has simply not been powerful enough to pickup, after hoovering you feel as though you haven't really acheived anything because there are still 'bits' all over the carpet. Also it has blocked up on a number of occasions which has involved taking parts of the hoover apart to remove the blockages. This was not a cheap hoover, at the time about it cost about £150 and we do not feel that we have had good value for money.... Read review

Advantages: Delay timer, quiet, and you can adapt the racks.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever

...I bought the Zanussi-Electrolux ZDF 501 S about 2 months ago. I am thrilled with it. It has a delayed timer on it so I can set it to wash during our Economy 10 hours so it is cheaper on the electric. I live in a block of flats and I was concerned about the noise level of running a dishwasher at night. Anyhow, I bought this Zanussi-Electrolux ZDF 501 S and it's the best dishwasher I have ever had. The bottom rack is great because you can fold some of the sections down to make room for the bigger items you need to put in it. On the top rack, you can remove the racks to adapt it for more glasses. I can fit a LOT of dishes in it and they come out brilliantly clean!... Read review

Advantages: Looks nice
Disadvantages: Very short life

...The Electrolux EOB944 built-in oven is nice and neat looking, available in brown or white. And whilst it is working, it does a great job. It is fan-assisted, and warms up quite quickly However, it does not seem to have a very long life expectancy. My neighbour had the exact same model: theirs lasted for 1 year and a day before the element stopped working. Mine lasted for 20 months of part-time use (I only used it at weekends) before it had exactly the same problem. The best that Electrolux would offer me was "40% of the cost of parts only", which I thought was terrible. Either there was a bad batch of this oven made (which Electrolux wouldn't admit to) or they are all this bad. Make your own mind up! I will not be buying another one though.... Read review
