...is the drum n bass in this album? Unless I'm mistaken, one of the tracks on here is guitar based and could be classed as a rock song. Nothing against rock but if I wanted a rock song I'd have bought one. Annoying synthesizer most of the way through, half hearted feeble bass line when there is one at all. ...was due to be released in mid March, then got pushed back to mid April, and has now been released on May 12th. ...changes, much like it does in "Another Planet" on the album "Hold Your Colour" except without the "Suddenly there was a change voiceover". The synths play a lot more of a role during this part of the song, the bass is still pushing through at a fast pace making for a thoroughly enjoyable song for the duration- 5 mins 28 secs. My rating for this track would be 10/10, switching from a fast pace to a slow pace at many times in the song I have enjoyed ... Read review

I've been to see Pendulum live twice now, my third is December and even from watching videos of their gigs there is one thing about this band and this album that I adore....... its fans are the definition of eclectic. This album is for everyone, if you like metal, dance, rave, hip hop its all in there. Everybody knows the Pendulum vs. Fresh mashup known on the underground as "Tarantula" or "Black Tarantula", and in many ways, this song alone inspired me to buy this album. Drum 'n' Bass & Break Beat are not my primary loves in music, and I can't stand alot of artists in the game, who churn out tracks with the same old beat, and , whilst i find sometimes myself dancing along to the same old drum, Penulum does not follow the rules. ...into jungle or drum and bass music. it has loads of diffent sounds and beats and is an altogether great uplifting cd to listen to.
