with a gravity gun that can send everything from teapots to family cars flying. Making a mess was never so much fun.Konami have been one of the most reticent of the big Japanese publishers, in being coaxed away from just supporting the PlayStation. But with their first game on the Wii there's no sign of Solid Snake or Silent Hill. Instead they've created something entirely original, although its influences are as diverse as Pikmin and Half-Life 2. The game has you collecting the cute little Eledees that are hidden in various locations around the levels. In order to coax them out you have a gravity gun with which you can manipulate the environment, from opening drawers and cupboards to flinging around lawnmowers and dunking basketballs. The more Eledees you collect, the heavier the objects your can move, from pots and pans in the beginning, to whole houses by the end of a level. As well as just being able to lift heavier objects, gradually charging up your gun allows you to power electrical equipment. Stick a chicken in the microwave or start the garden sprinklers and dozens of Eledees are revealed. This leads to some surprisingly complex puzzles and ensures almost everything in a level is interactive to some degree. The game has a multiplayer mode, with four people competing to collect the most Eledees they can find. However only one person gets to control the camera (via the nunchuck) which is bound to lead to arguments. - HARRISON DENT

Advantages: Easy, make use of Wii controller, novel idea. Disadvantages: Ultimately not that interesting, limited gameplay, basic graphics and sound.
...is it about? --
Eledees are not what you might expect. I often wander just what those minds at Nintendo will come up with next as each Wii game I pick up gets stranger and stranger. Eledees is very Japanese and involves wandering a house that has been plunged into darkness by a powercut and you play a young boy left alone by his scientist parents who rush off to their lab where they are studying these strange descended from space Eledee critters. ... ...used to zap in the Eledees as well as interact with the world, this is done by using the A or B buttons, you choose.
-- Gameplay --
The purpose of the game is to catch the critters and there are a lot of them, its a bit like hide and seek as they hide, in, under and behind various things around the house. You start off in the boys bedroom where you first need to catch enough Eledees to turn on the lights, TV and computer amongst other things. Some ...

...is to collect all the eledees up, using a special capture gun. To find eledees, you must use the wii remote to aim at objects and pick them up / throw them or shake them, to find any eledees that may be underneath. When you capture eledees, the points you get varys in the state they are in. They can be happy, sleeping, scared etc.
Its a difficult game and i wouldnt really reccomend it, it doesnt really match the box asthe box is all colourful and ...

So, I've had a Wii for about a week now. I decided against buying games for the console until I was savvy with the controls. Initially I practiced with the Wii sports games (these came free with the console).
