My nails have never been any good at growing. They always break making them look untidy. All my friends have beautiful nails and I wasn't able to compete so I had to resort to cheating. False nails are now widely available from most chemists. You can pay lots of money for them but there are cheaper brands which work just as well. I have found some false nails for 99p from body care, they are unpainted but as soon as you polish them up they look great.
The false nails come in an eye catching glittery silver box so they are quite easy to spot amongst the other brands. The box has been designed so you can see the nails without opening the box.
Inside the box are the false nails waiting to be women, making your hands more elegant and beautiful. The nails are in a plastic container and each nail is separate from other nails. This is because the glue is pre applied to the underneath of each nail and if they where in the packet loose they would stick together.
The pack contains 24 false nails and they come in a variety of sizes so they will suit the smaller or larger nails.
I paid £3.00 from my local body shop. I think this is a reasonable
price for a set of false nails but they are not the cheapest.
The nails are ready to wear as soon as you are ready to put them on. They have already been painted and shaped. The nails come in different sizes and colours. I choose square and choose them in French polish as they looked the nicest.
The nails are so easy to put on. As they are pre glued there is no hassle with getting a small amount of glue on each nail, trying to place the nail in the right place with out sticking the nail to your hand!
These nails are perfect for people who have a busy social life! I have found them great for when I have a party to go to and don't have a lot of time getting ready. It takes less than a minute to put all the nails on and you're done!
Choose the size of the false nail that closely matches your nail width size then apply the false nail to your own nail and hold for 5 to 10 seconds. The glue which is underneath bonds to your nail.
The nails look really good when they are all on and give that finishing touch to your outfit. They look just as good as salon nails and I have had friends ask me which salon I go to! I have no excuse now not to have good looking nails when we go out. As they come in different shapes and sizes you can buy them to suit your outfit or occasion.
The box states that they will last 3 days. This really depends on how much you use your hands. I find that they will last the whole evening if I am going to a party or a meal as the glue is really strong. But when I am doing housework they tend to fall off quicker! You can re apply the nails once they have fallen by buying a bottle of nail glue to stick it back on. I always carry a bottle of glue with me just incase one of them falls off but when I have been wearing the stick on nails they don't fall off.
If you want to remove them, you have a few options. I prefer to pull mine off to and keep them in a little pot and I will re-use them another time so for £2.99 you can at least two wears out of them. I take them off when I am at work as I can't type with them on. Or you can soak your hands in warm water and they are then easy to pull off. They don't pull your natural nail off but it can be a little painful when pulling them.
I will be buying these again, maybe not this brand as I like to try different nails, but will always now buy the pre glued ones as they are a doddle to put on. What ever occasion you're going to and even if you haven't got time, as long as you have a packet of these you will go to the ball!
