Elemis also promise that the cream will an accelerated lifting effect through increased collagen support. Before I tell you what I think about the cream, let me explain how this cream works.
The clue is in the name-marine. This cream contains Padina Pavonica, the protective coating of a brown algae found in the Mediterranean Sea. The algae attract water and is scientifically proven to improve collagen support and therefore improve the firmness of skin. The cream also contains Gingko biloba,rose and mimosa absolute that help provide protection from those nasty free radicals.
I am always a bit sceptical when trying any cream that makes promises to firm up my skin, so wasn't expecting great things from this cream. The instructions for use tell you to use this cream after cleansing your skin and suggest you use the cream daily. I have been using this cream twice a day, once in the morning and once before I go to bed.
The cream itself is amazingly light; in fact it's the lightest skin cream I have ever come across. It is very easily absorbed into the skin and I love applying it! It has a very subtle scent that is slightly floral, again full marks from me! On using the cream my skin feels immediately soft and hydrated. As I suffer from very dry skin, especially in the winter this is impressive.
I have been using this cream for about a month now and my skin does look much less dry that previously. I have a few fine lines around my eyes and these to have diminished. I can't comment on how this cream would fare on deep wrinkles. Overall I am very impressed with this cream and will continue to use it. I find a little goes a long way, which is just as well given the price tag! Oh, didn't I tell you? This cream costs around £75 for a 50 ml jar! It is available from beauty salons selling Elemis products and some retailers on line.

The Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream I purchased came in a beautiful small tub and at first glace appears to poor value for money as this comes in at £75 for a 50ml tub. There are other smaller sized tubs and tubes available and Elemis studios will let you try before you buy.
The tub is solid and the lid screws on nicely, so no risk of it opening in your luggage and spilling its contents over everything.

I have used this product for years and would recommend it to anybody.
I will state that I was introduced to it as a therapist but continued personal usage after I finished working with it professionally.
I have a problem skin Mature and sensitive with Acne Rosacea and whereas this has no properties to treat the Rosacea it has kept my skin smooth comfortable and hydrated. Because it contains no petroleum products it does not form a barrier on the ... ...and still benefit from them.
My skin feels immediately hydrated and comforted when I smooth this product on, it is long lasting as you only need a small amount, non greasy and easily absorbed.
It is expensive but you only have one face and it is shown to the world everyday, so even if you have to give up something else try this product. ...

...moment finally arrived - an Elemis kit from QVC provided a 15ml sample of this so called Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, I tried it with my usual doubts, but to my suprise this cream was totally different to anything else I had ever tried! It was not greasy or heavy sank into my skin straight away! Well that was it I was hooked. Have now been using it for a few years and will not be looking for another cream! For the specifics, it is a huge buy at £75 ... ...from the Elemis timetospa website you can often get free gifts and the like - a small way to make it feel less expensive!
The texture is like a gel/cream, it feels rich and smooths into the skin in seconds but is not greasy or heavy, the smell is fabulous to me it smells a bit like poison perfume - but not that heavy just a hint of it, very subtle.

I have to be honest with you and say that when I first heard about the price (rrp. £150.00) I was shocked and thought never in a million years would I spend that amount of money on a moisturising cream but now I've tried it, I'll never go back. I bought this size from Salon Skincare as it was on offer at £99.00, which I think is the best price as there is no p&p to pay either. There are many advantages to this cream. First I think it would suit all skin types - I have combination skin which has an oily t-zone, but I also get some facial psoriasis. I also have sensitive skin which is why I can make a comment like that. It doesn't irritate my psoriasis at all. I put a bit extra on those areas and once it has sunk in (which doesn't take long at all) that area no longer feels flakey. I have found that some moisturisers are too heavy ...

My forehead isn`t flaky, though I think it may be still slightly dry, the mask has improved it.
I don`t really think my face felt any different leaving the mask on overnight, than leaving it on for 8-10 minutes.
When leaving the mask on for 8-10 minutes, it is applied more thickly than when left on overnight.
I will see what I feel like in a few days time when I use the mask again whether I leave it on overnight again.
The mask is definately good for the skin, I am certainly going to use it twice a week to make sure it is used within the 6 months.
Will I buy again? Well, we will have to see if I can find it for a reasonable price. It is a good product, two ...

I am a 37 year old afro carribean woman and have skin that is prone towards oiliness and spots. I discovered Elemis about a year ago. And with the exception of their maximum moisture day cream, I have had at best, fantastic and at worst neutral results to all of their products that I have tried so far.
The fruit active rejuvenating mask has been great for me personally and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a boost in their skincare routine.
Currently I cleanse morning and night with Elemis sensitive cleansing wash, followed by their lime blossom toner (an oil from another company) and finish with pro-collagenmarinecream.
