I bought this as it was in a kit that I bought from QVC. It was not a full sized product: 15ml.The full size is 50ml and costs about £20.00. However I am not sure if I would go for the full size as the 15ml size has lasted well over ... ...week.
On the positive side, it seems to be fragrence free (which for me is a plus) I use it about once (sometimes twice) a week and it seems to leave my skin pretty smooth, matt and calm. However this could be down to the rest of my skincare regime.
On the downside, I find the beads feel quite coarse and scratchy against the skin and even though I have not had any adverse effects, I would hesitate to use this more than once a week ... more
With the passing years I have turned into a total product junkie, partly because at the age of 37 I have recently become concerned with ageing. Also because I have suffered with oily acne prone skin that is highly irritated by overly purfumed products for the past 20 years. Not 100% sure about this one, I would love to rave about it but just not sure.
Advantages: A little goes a long way Disadvantages: Slightly odd smell
...used in combination with other Elemis products, and it certainly fulfils its role. Unlike other exfoliators which tend to either try to sandpaper off your eyebrows, or tentatively slough off 1.2 skin cells before giving up, this works the way it should work.
Skin Buff has a creamy consistency with what feels like teeny tiny little balls in the mixture. This means that you don't feel rough edges against your skin, and you don't have to use much pressure ... ...as most of the other Elemis products. Camomile is one of the active ingredients, and it forms the main basis of the fragrance. It's not unpleasant, but it's a somewhat generic smell. Because the exfoliating beads are so small and fine, I tend to find that even when I wash my face thoroughly, there's still a bit of the product left along my hairline, and in/near my ears (Don't ask me what it's doing all the way over there. Having a party?)
End Result? ...

When I was growing up I lived in a hot climate and enjoyed endless hot sunny days. However now I am paying the price as my fair skin especially on my hands shows signs of sun damage. I also suffer from dry, chapped hands especially in the winter. I have a friend who works in a beauty salon and she recommended I try Elemis intensive hand repair cream.
