The story is a about a young girl from Brazil that gets lured to Geneva by false promises by a Swedish stranger that she meets in Brazil. Her life quickly changes and she become a dancer then a prostitute, Maria soon learns about sexual desires and needs that here clients wants from her and she becomes more interested in sex but most importantly ... .../>
But when meets an artist he and here take a liking for each other and Maria is faced with a dilemma, to carrying on with what she is doing delving deeper and deeper in sexual pleasures or to give here self all to the artist.
This is a brilliant story of a journey of where a person would go and to how far that person would seek the answers of the inner self, I would recommend this book to anyone to read. ... more

But when meets an artist he and here take a liking for each other and Maria is faced with a dilemma, to carrying on with what she is doing delving deeper and deeper in sexual pleasures or to give here self all to the artist.
This is a brilliant story of a journey of where a person would go and to how far that person would seek the answers of the inner self, I would recommend this book to anyone to read.

It is the story of a brazilian girl who wanted to be an actress and travelled to Switzerland but ended in a brothel. But here the story of heroism started when she decided to enjoy every minute of this one year stay while she is in this unknown country. She thought thet she could do anything because she has no identity or social boundary ... ...here and now of life.
Eleven minutes on the other hand indicate one of the believe of the character about sexual pleasure that can only last for such a short time so we have to make the most of it. Eleven also make us believe that there is always one more than ten that we can grab in life if we want. Eleven digit also mean not one but two people in the journey of life. If a person is alone he is only one but another person can make elevn. Elevn ...

...one of my favorite author. Eleven Minutes is the third book that I've read from him and is one of my collection. I find thisstory very provoking and yet very interesting. I love the fact that I have access to Maria's (the main character) diary wherein she wrotes all the things that she feels.
