EliteGroup K7S5A Pro V5.0 - motherboard - ATX - SiS735

Advantages: This motherboard works in a great speed and stability.
Disadvantages: I have not found it, yet.

The price (USD 71) was not the main factor that changed my mind to choose ECS K7S5A. I was thinking and thinking about my needs. At my first glance, certainly I thought that ASUS was the best of all. But realizing that those motherboards were new products, the famous brands could not be hold as the only reference. How did I solve my problem? The only way was to measure the performance of each motherboard. Certainly it was impossible to do it for all motherboards. Hence, I had to determine some motherboards to be benchmarked, namely ASUS A7V266, ABIT KG7 and ECS K7S5A. Advantages: Low Cost, Supports so many Intel Processors
Disadvantages: not enough PCI Slots

Advantages: soo many, cannot describe them in just few words
Disadvantages: none apparent

...and so I went to open it and so I went to install it and so on only to find out that my old motherboard wouldn't support it. Its BIOS was un-upgradeable (plus few more other reasons) and so I went out again to look for new motherboard. This time I had to have it instantly (yes the very same day) but you wouldn't believe me how very few shops in London sell motherboards. I managed to find one and only ( Asus P5Q PRO ATX iP45) and there I was on my way home with smile totally excited to set it up and get it running. Well again to my dissapointment I realised that this motherboard just won't fit in my old Dell chassis because Dell's speciality is probably custom made hardware or at least motherboards which are fitted in the chassis basically upside down + few extra weird things which are here (in my humble opinion) to prevent you from upgrading...
