I had read about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream many times in girls mags. It has always been hailed as a wonder product so I was curious to find out why. Now, I couldn't live with out it - I use it for everything.
So what's it like? It comes in a white tube, the basic simplistic Elizabeth Arden packaging. It comes in a 75ml tube which costs about £15 depending where you buy it from. This tube lasts forever. Well, I've had mine since Christmas and there is still loads left.
When you squeeze some out you'll notice that its not really a cream, it has more of an oily texture, is a brown colour & has a medical smell. The smell is the most off putting thing about it, but if you can get past this you will be glad of the benefits.
So what are the many uses of Eight Hour Cream? Let me tell you...
First and foremost you can use it on chapped dry skin. Slap a bit on before you go to bed & voila! Moisturised skin!
The same goes for lips. Although the smell is a bit naff, it is the best lip salve I've used. It soothes & moisturies dry lips & also works quite well as a lip gloss. If you have dry flaky lips, slap someeight hour cream on & rub gently with a dry toothbrush to exfoliate.
Eyelashes. If you put some on at night after you've taken your makeup off it promotes growth & makes your lashes thicker & fuller! I also know some people who simply use it in the daytime instead of mascara.
It works great on burns. Because it is rich in Vitamin E, if you have any small burn marks, rubbing this cream in a few times a day will really help the healing process & help reduce scarring.
Nails. Some people use Almond Oil but I think that massaging Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream into my nails definatley helps them grow & become strong & healthy. Because it contains lots of vitamin E its definatley good for nails.
So although it might be slightly on the expensive side, I think this product is well worth the price & I honestly couldnt live without it!

A bit on the expensive side and I think the look and smell would put me off! x x

I've only ever used this on my lips and my nose (when I've had a cold my nose skin gets dry!!) so I'll have to try out your tip about using it on my nails!
