This is by far the best handcream I have ever used. I have always struggled to keep my hands looking good in Winter. A combination of the weather and being sensitive to household cleaning products has always left me with dry and cracked hands by January and February.

The moisturising handcream I was using at that time was having little effect. As I applied the Elizabeth Arden cream I noticed that it has a pleasant clean smell rather than a perfumed fragrance. I was in some doubt that it would be any better than previous products I had tried. Before I started to apply it my hands were stinging and had tiny open cracks on the knuckles. I was suprised that as I smoothed the cream on it did not smart as other creams do. The cream was not as greasy as some handcreams or ointments and did not leave a residue on the surface of my skin, sinking in almost instantly.
The smell that lingered from the cream was slightly medicinal but pleasant and fresh. Then apart from applying it a couple more times that day and at night I forgot all about it. 24 hours later I was surprised to notice that my hands healed up and were no longer so dry that they hurt.
I will probably use this cream as a stand by and use a cheaper one most of the time. However I would buy this product if I needed in the future because it is so effective; but I have to admit I would have never have tried it in the first place had I not been given a tube.
