Green Tea gets the Red Light
Advantages: Quite cheap Disadvantages: Smells like a lemon scented wet wipe

Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea can be bought from The Perfume Shop as Eau de Toilette in the following:
50ml - £17 or 100ml - £26
A 30ml bottle is also available at a cheaper price but was out of stock in the branch I went into and it was unclear how much was charged normally.

The website – www.elizabetharden.com describes this scent as a sparkling elixir that has the power to revitalise and awaken your soul. It is said to be an exotic blend of aromatic leaves, herbs and citrus notes which stimulates and enhances the spirit. Going on to describe itself as energising, uplifting and reviving, it claims to create a harmonious fragrance.
It seems to be recommended for day and office wear from what I can see through researching it on a few websites and it certainly gives the impression that it’s quite a casual scent.
The bottle is extremely simple (I suppose some would call it elegant but I found it a bit boring) – being made of clear glass in a tall oblong shape, which is rounded at the edges (see pic). The lid is quite long and is a pale green colour and there is simply just an etched tea leaf on the front of the bottle. The perfume inside the bottle has a pale green tinge to it. It should be pointed out at this stage that this green colour will not discolour skin or clothing (or at least – it didn’t on me).
The notes to this perfume are very misleading in comparison to how it actually smells:
Top Notes: - Caraway, Rhubarb, Orange Zest and Bergamot Middle Notes: Peppermint, Green Tea, Jasmine, Carnation, Fennel and Celery Base Notes: Oakmoss, Musk and Amber
It is a perfume or a confused salad? Unfortunately, I can’t smell the majority of these scents in any of the notes. On me, this fragrance smells like a more pleasant version of a lemon wet wipe (you know the little things you get at some fast food chains to wipe your fingers on). The scent is quite strong, even though it’s only an Eau de Toilette and if you don’t like it then you’ll have to put up with wearing it for a good 4 hours (possibly even 6 on some skin types).
Bearing this in mind, there is a slightly floral tone to it but it does seem to just get lost under all that zestiness which makes up the overpowering scent described before (the wet wipe). When it has settled (after about 2 ½ hours), it is possible to detect a slight muskiness to the smell, but overall I found it disappointing as after reading the notes I was expecting a quite interesting fruity number and ended up with a wet wipe, feeling like I’d get better value for money by grabbing some of these next time I was in a take away and using them to freshen up.
Maybe it's the fact that the lemon fresh scent is so overpowering to the point where it feels like it clings to you that I didn't like. Instead of feeling like I had been given a sophiscated air with the fragrance, I felt almost weighed down by it and couldn't wait for it to settle down.
On one website I was informed that this scent is inspired by an ancient tradition, although it didn’t go into detail as to what that was. This fragrance was also described as one of the most rejuvenating and refreshing scents you could buy as it surrounds you with a cool, crisp and clean energy.
I suppose the smell is quite refreshing, but only if you actually like it, I would definitely recommend testing it first (preferably on one of those paper strips) as you will be able to determine whether this is for you quite quickly.
It’s definitely suitable for casual and daywear and easily work round the office or even school. It’s not especially fitted for any age group, I personally think it has quite a young smell to it so teenagers may like it as much as fully-fledged adults, it all depends on whether it suits your tastes.
I am sure that this can be purchased in Boots, but haven’t seen it myself (although I haven’t actually looked for it) and calling your local branch will answer the question. I do know that it can be purchased from The Perfume Shop which has about 100 branches all over the UK – the website www.theperfumeshop.com will be able to locate your nearest branch or you can order online.

Body Lotion Bath & Shower Gel Body Cream Cream Deodorant
Although, I haven’t actually seen these so do not know how much they retail for.
Generally I wouldn’t really recommend this perfume unless you are a fan of strong citrus-type scents and have tried before you buy to make sure that you like it. It really wasn’t my sort of fragrance and despite all its exotic-salad sounding notes, it was disappointing. I would suggest to those of you looking for a fairly cheap, light and citrus smelling perfume to buy CK One instead, it does everything this perfume should without going too far and ruining it.

...counters I came across the Elizabeth Arden collection. The sales assistant was helpful and offered me the usual tester cards to spray with my selected perfumes. I didn’t like the three perfumes I’d selected to sample. She then introduced The Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent spray. I loved it instantly! This was the one. This is what I’d been looking for. A 50ml bottle will set you back a reasonable £17.50, but I opted instead for ... ...that several other fragrances by Elizabeth Arden such as Spiced Green Tea and Eau Fraiche come in the exact same bottle design but with different coloured lids. How cheap is that? And now when I think about all of these points combined, it’s no underestimation to state that I really feel ripped off! So Elizabeth Arden, in my opinion you should get your act together.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume fails almost in every way. I’m disappointed ...

...a 1.7fl oz bottle of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray. I hadn’t heard of this scent before, let alone tried it, so without wasting time popped open the box pulled out the bottle and gave a healthy squirt into the lid for a sniff test. As I already had perfume on that day I didn’t want to risk smelling like a chemical plant by spraying this on my wrist also, that and just in case I didn’t like it so in the lid it went.

On the back of the box is a list of the ingredients, a warning stating that this product is flammable, contact details and the recyclable symbol for when you discard of the box.
For box appeal it doesn’t rate very highly, they could have been a little more artistic in keeping with other new fragrances I feel, ...

...gave me a bottle of Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea Moisturising Dip for the Bath. Although I had seen this range of products advertised in magazines, I was yet to try it as I have to admit that I steer clear of the Elizabeth Arden counter in department stores as I am always reminded of the Blue Grass range.

This review is the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Shower gel.
In my case this shower gel was part of a Christmas set I bought for myself on a trip to the Perfume Shop last year. The box was priced £10 so I thought it was not a huge price to pay for a quality present to myself. Apart from the showergel my gift box also contained the following: 50 ml Green Tea Body lotion, 50 ml Green Tea Shampoo, 50 ml Green Tea Conditioner and a 50 ml Green Tea Eau de ... ...can easily read the brand Elizabeth Arden.

...months ago, I purchased some Elizabeth Arden foundation. With it, I received a free gift pack that contained a small bottle of Green Tea Scent Spray. Anxious to give this new scent a try, I used it the next morning, after my shower.
At first, I wasn't so sure what I thought of this light, somewhat sporty fragrance. As they day wore on, I decided that I quite liked it. My co-workers asked me what fragrance I was wearing and said that it smelled fresh ... ...lingering - and that was a big plus.
When I sadly used the last bit of the trial size, I didn't feel that I could afford to go out and buy another bottle. Money is often tight, and designer colognes are a luxury to me. After awhile, Jon took pity on me in a department store one afternoon, and bought be a 3.3 fluid ounce bottle of this lovely concoction. At $35, it was a better value than the 1.5 ounce bottle, and I was thrilled to receive it!
The ...
