As I love Elizabeth Arden products, I treated myself to the full size 50ml pot of this treatment. I hoped it would brighten my dry, dull looking skin and prepare it for summer.

The claims made for this product are that it will smooth, brighten, energise and resurface the skin. Improve texture and tone and help minimise wrinkles and lines.

I had very little result from using this on my dry skin. My wrinkles, yes I admit to a few, were completely undisturbed too!

I found it easy enough to apply, but the thin gel-like consistency meant that it dripped from the brush applicator and was hard to keep in the pot and not all over the bathroom sink.

After the drying time suggested, about 20 minutes, it was still moist, I had expected it to dry like a gel and then easily peel off. Not the case. It cme off in bits, was fiddly to do and I had to rinse off the remnants in the end.

I have had better results from cheap 99p face mask sachets. My face looked no better than before, it just smelled nice.

    I'm not a big fan of Elizabeth Arden anyway, except for the 8 hour cream xx
