    Disadvantages Disadvantages Certain Things Missing.

    For about three years I bought J-17, which I now cant, stand! People who have read my opinion on it will understand why! I then started to read ‘Sugar’ magazine, which covered the basics, you know music, movies, fashion, guys, beauty did I mention guys?! Anyway after a while I just started to get bored of ‘Sugar’ it just didn’t satisfy me any longer. I needed a magazine with more fashion and beauty tips so I decided to buy Vogue, which cost me £3.20 per issue, a little expensive but hey its pretty thick.     Today, I though I'd buy a magazine. I rarely do this but, hey...I felt like it...as you do! So, in a mad dash on my way back to college, I leapt into the newsagents. Hmmm...the choice was a bit sparse. There was stuff like 'B' and 'Company'...nah, didn't fancy them. There was 'More'...bit tacky... and things like 'Elle' and 'Vogue' - can't stand the adverts...so that left me with...'Cosmo Girl' or 'Elle Girl'. I'd never heard of 'Elle Girl' or 'Cosmo Girl' before. As I said, I'm not a huge magazine reader and don't really know what's availible. I thought I'd give one of these baby sister's a ... more

    I swear, I LOVE this magazine!!! The thing which is essentially so good about Elle Girl is that it is the first british shopping and fashion magazine exclusively for teens. It is full of absolutely GORGEOUS stuff. Most of the time you just want to go out and buy it all, pity it's so expensive...(but there is some 'Cheap Chic' throught the mag).... The magazine is divided up into 5 sections- Girl Talk, Real Girl, Girl World, Star Girl and Pretty Girl which all have a trendy, very fashionable feel. Girl Talk consists of info on all this season's trends, with features like "Who, What, Wear" and ... more

    Elle girl magazines oozes orignality with its cutting edge fashion pages and its wide topics on many social issues. It helps promote individuality and the right to be who you are. Ibought my first issue of elle girl at 12 years old and from then i new that this was the only magazine that understands me. One the particular issues that elle girl has tackled to make me really proud to be a reader is Teenage protitution in japan mabye it is not the most kindest subject talk about but it is one that effects young girls in poverty a lot.
