Advantages Examples of the key trends, style details, interesting photo shoots
Disadvantages many advertisements, magazine delivered to my door does sometimes get ruined- e.g. wet or ripped
In my opinion Elle magazine is my monthly guide to fashion, it features all the key trends each month, with much detail and examples of how to wear the trend. It also has an interview with a few guest celebrities- usually an actress, model or singer etc. Fashion notes, blogs, fashion photo shoots, beauty hotlists and style spies are all included in the magazine. It is very similar to Vogue but is a tad cheaper as Vogue is £4.00 and Elle is £3.60. Also I find Elle easier to read as the language used is more common than Vogue. However Elle does advertise a lot of products which could tend to annoy some people.
In my Experience, I am always most interested in the interviews with guest celebrities and the fashion and beauty notes. Although I sometimes skip some of the articles that I am not very fond of; for example, articles about dating and jobs.If you want to read this magazine frequently I would advise you to subscribe and get it delivered to your door. It is much cheaper and you get it right at the start of each month for twelve months. But the only problem with getting Elle magazine delivered is that it is not really package very well and often gets slightly wet or ripped on the edges.
I think that this magazine is good value for money as it is well written and very full of fashion news. I would recommend this magazine to anyone interested in fashion.
